I think Trump humpers are misunderstanding one key part of the Trump campaigns absolutely horrible court strategy of just "fling shit and pray". To get to scotus you need to at least partially succeed in a lower court so you can move evidence and testimony forward. Right now every Trump case is being tossed for either being completely absurd or having no understanding of election law. SCOTUS isn't going to pick up any of these garbage can lawsuits and save the day. All of Trump's picks are originalists, they don't believe in the courts interfering in elections. For Trump's team of morons to have any chance of making it to DC they have to assemble one hell of a case with a shit ton of irrefutable actual evidence and actually convince a judge they aren't a bunch of facebook crackpots. So far they have embarrassed themselves in dozens of cases and presented no evidence and just run their mouths on social media. They are also quickly running out of time with states now certifying. Having Ghouliani running anything is the definition of punching yourself in the face. He was in court today and made a complete fool of himself, had no understanding of the law he was trying to argue.

Are YOU implying that the vaccine prevents contraction of Covid? Because it doesn't.

No. I am not. We are talking about deaths and hospitalizations, which we saw A LOT of at the beginning of this thing. Nobody wants to go back to that. I think it has long been proven that the vaccine prevents severe illness. And to a lesser extent, it does reduce the chances of contracting it period. But the most important thing is preventing the severe illnesses that have shown to come with being unvaccinated, especially with the latest variants.

Haha the funny thing is, even in your hypothetical where if you had to have a Twitter and had to follow Trump's tweets. Even if they were so mean, it takes literally a quick flick of your thumb to scroll past his tweet so you wouldnt have to even read it haha.

I cant stand people who put more stock into what a president says and how he says it, compared to the policies he puts in place and how they affect the day to day life of the country. Its much much easier to just not listen to a president if you dont like the things he says, compared to trying to avoid the idiotic policies they put in place.

But ya no more mean tweets I guess is worth it...
If anyone who had a problem with Trump never listened to the media or social media, and just judged him on how their day to day life was going.....well they wouldn't have had a problem with him.

I simply don't get these snowflakes. I enjoyed all of Trump's tweets. He was sticking it to people that I consider lower than pond scum, so of course I was nothing if not delighted to read them.
Only reason I didn't like his tweeting was because I knew it would cost him some votes. Did that alone cost him the election? Probably not. I knew the libs would cheat though and so every vote was important in my opinion. People who didn't vote for him because of tweets were idiots but unfortunately a large portion of the population are in fact idiots so you need their votes too.

Stop saying that. The Dems cheated and the proof is out. Biden got 81M votes in 477 counties, half what counties Obama got? Yeah right. Trump WON the election.

The only reasons you saw a large number of deaths at the beginning is because a) hospitals were getting paid $13k per death case and were inflating their reports deliberately AND were shoving ventilators down the throats of people who didn't need them, which killed thousands, and b) because Andrew "Grim Reaper" Cuomo shoved covid superspreaders into the noses of tens of thousands of nursing home victims.

Can say pretty much the same thing about Bevin. He definitely said stuff he probably shouldnt have, but I bet Kentucky wouldve been one of the most open states around during covid if Bevin was governor. But instead Bevin hurt people's feelings and Kentucky got stuck with a tyrant.

Are you saying that the reasons in A) apply to the rest of the world? Also, what do you make of more current data which shows that death rates are clearly higher in areas in which vaccination rates are lower compared to areas where vaccination rates are higher?

Maybe Trump should have chilled on the constant twitter takes then? Maybe not go to war with media members and celebrities on a daily basis? Maybe not constantly brag about ratings like a clown. In other words, it's his fault he lost. Blame him, not some bs cheating excuse like Louisville fans do.

Great, put us all on ignore and GTFO back to DailyKos.
Nah, I'm not as sensitive as most of you. I say one word and some of you actually post "put him on ignore! Put all the libs on ignore!" I had one guy here once say that he gets likes here and I don't so I need to leave! I mean, lol.

Did you not read my post? I acknowledged the libs cheated. I knew they would. That's why we needed every vote to try to overcome it. It's like when UK plays Duke. We know the refs are going to cheat us. That's why we need to make every free throw and play our A game if we want a chance to win.

Trump didn't play his A game and clanked a bunch of free throws. Sorry. By all means, continue to sound like a Louisville fan though.

99% chance FBI spies planted those bombs. Amazing how they can arrest someone that was just outside of the capitol for being there with a trump flag, but just cant find that darn guy who was on camera planting bombs.
99% chance you're making shit up per usual. What's this make, like 7 conspiracy theories posted in this thread this week?

He absolutely picked unnecessary fights and it made me cringe. However, he could've been an angel and the media treatment would've been the same. So I don't think that alone had a net impact.

We used to have liberals who could carry on a conversation, now all that's left are passive aggressive brainwashed leftists who have no interest other than trolling the thread.

I think everyone should be held accountable. You make it sound like conservatives on this board are the bastion of maturity and civility. That there is no baiting and personal attacks. To lay the blame squarely on liberals for most of the deterioration of dialogue seems quite disingenuous in my respectful opinion. If it’s truly respectful dialogue that you seek then let’s call it out whenever someone posts in a way that is not conducive. There has been decent dialogue, hell I think the back and forth about Covid today was pretty sensible.
