Curious where people on here stand on this.
A popular porn star who is a vocal conservative was booted from the Turning Point USA event because she is a porn star. I’ve seen a few somewhat big names come out and applause the move.
Maybe this is where my more Libertarian side kicks in. But I think it’s dumb that she was booted because she is a porn star.
Although I don't see where it's noted on their website, but I've always thought that Turning Point is a Christian organization....or at least leans very heavily that way. I've seen Kirk interviewed on a number of Christian programs, functions, etc. If so then being a porn 'star' has no place at one of their events.
Wasn't saying anything bad about Cheers, was just referencing a comedy older than Roseanne.
Porn is not what politicians want to be involved with.

I don’t believe they are a Christian organization. They have had plenty of Jewish and atheist speakers at their events. Hell Dave Rubin who is a gay Jew who is agnostic has hosted a ton of TPUSA events.
This is part of the reason why conservatives are losing the culture war.

Christian or not, Jesus doesn’t give anyone the boot. In fact Jesus hung around with drunks and hookers because they needed Him most. Would they kick her out of a church sermon? To use Christian principles as a reason for dismissing someone from a political event is a cop out IMO.
And why can’t you be conservative and X? Jenna Jameson seems pretty conservative and has good takes IIRC from my Twitter days. Alice Cooper is Christian... but he puts on shows that involve beheadings. He too much to have on? I get not wanting to give a platform or be represented by a convicted murderer, pedophile, etc. but you can’t continue to alienate everyone who doesn’t fit your mold perfectly.
