DeSantis and Trump are tight. They talked before the rally and DeSantis let it be known he was staying with his fellow Floridians at the condominium collapse on the East Coast.

Had he shown up the media would have crucified him for not caring. But he didn't pass on the rally for that reason. He was being a governor and showing concern for the tragedy.
