Sheesh…
True definition of coyote ugly.

So true, but many voters could care less about policies. For example, my wife and others i know voted biden because “i can’t stand trump.” ask “which of trump’s policies do you dislike, or which of biden’s do you like,” and they can’t name one.
Sometimes i think citizens should have to pass some kind of test to be eligible to vote.

If people are to be believed, there are hosts of voters out there voting while unable to figure out how to get a free ID.

Of course that's all bs, but if it were true they shouldn't vote anyway.

It's ridiculous to watch Dems claim victory for creating a holiday that only exists because they refused to free the slaves

Next month is the accepted pride month for me. The real pride month:

False. Explain to us how SS is welfare when most who are on it paid into it for many, many years. Just because you don't and probably won't get it unless you fake an injury does not mean others did not earn it.
Because the average recipient receives more than they paid in.

Because the average recipient receives more than they paid in.

Look up Galveston, TX. SS is a ponzi scheme and a ripoff.

The article is incorrect on many facets. Here is one, "To make the final amounts comparable to what might have been done with the tax money had it been invested privately, the institute adjusted all dollar figures at 2 percentage points above the rate of inflation."

Uh ... 2% ... okay. A good growth-stock mutual fund will grow 3-4x the rate of inflation, if not higher.

Having said that, the article discusses an average, or even, best-case scenario that favors their point. They use an anectdotal scenario to support their position. I'm willing to bet, on average, everyone who dies before 70 doesn't get their money back. (Easy bet LOL)

Tell you what ... let's end SS and other forms of wealth redistribution today. Let's allow private charities, communities and churches help the people in their communities that need help. (Yea right... we know you and your type just want control.)

Politifact? you mean the biased "fact checker" who gets a very large portion of their funding from Google, Facebook and the like? yeah, real bastions of fairness and honesty there.

FACT is most people pay into it for all of their working careers, some will never receive anywhere close to what they paid in because they die within a short time after retiring, others may receive more because they live into their 90's or 100's. the point is that it ISN'T welfare due to the fact people paid into and EARNED it by WORKING for most of their lives. Most welfare recipients do neither. They just get funneled our taxpayer dollars for making poor life choices.

I get it, there are a lot of truly disabled, truly unable to work, people with legitimate reasons for not being able to work, NOONE thinks those people aren't legitimate recipients of Social programs, but we ALL know there are a very large portion of recipients that are abusing the system or taking advantage of it. Tell us what a welfare recipient does to earn what they receive?

It would help a ton in terms of knowing what you’re getting. Just a super easy test with questions like who is your current governor, who is running for governor, name one senator from your state, or name 2 people running for president would disqualify a lot of people from voting.

I realize that last one should be a no brainer, but I honestly think we’d be surprised how many people that question would eliminate from voting. I mean, we have college educated people who don’t know what the civil war was...

Well in fairness that ended long ago. The internet has much more to offer a hormone driven teenage kid these days.

But back in the 90’s if you didn’t have access to Playboy it was this catalogue. And if you didn’t have access to this catalogue it was the Sears bra section.

Sears bra section? You are younger than me...you didn't have the internet bruh?

I do remember the old dial up internet, sometimes it could take a 30-40 seconds just to get a picture...'there's her face...uh oh, wait for it...here comes some titties'

I didn’t get internet until late high school. My parents were (and still are) technologically illiterate.

Ah yes. Dial up. The worst was when you were downloading a 2 or 3 minute clip and it took 5-10 minutes to download and then someone picked up the phone...

The sears catalog Bra section was 70's- early 80's not sure when they stopped pumping out the giant catalog though, but that was when I recall it being the go to for semi-nude photography.

I’m cool with this. We test to drive. What else? I think there may be other things folks should have to test for before being allowed to participate.

Social media is not free speech you damn lunatics. You are still free to walk out of your trailer and scream you conspiracy bullshit to your neighbors because that is free speech. Social media is a business and they get to decide who their customers are. That's called capitalism. Pretty much the only time I see any tweets is in this board so I give no ****s about it.
