Playoff Indiana @ Notre Dame

Never really saw a replay of the big catch by IU WR. They hurried up to the line to snap the all like they were worried it wasn't a catch.

Notre Dame looks good. Let's see how they look against a sec team. Idc if Georgia was starting Brock somehow, I'm still picking them.

And giving cupcake teams a bye for winning cupcake conference and tomato can conference. The rules are very flawed at present and need updated asap or we will see more of this.
Yes. You'll also never see regular season out of conference marquee matchups ever if they don't fix

All that is true, but if we were playing Indiana tonight they would beat our arse
No doubt. By the end of the year I think we were the worst P4 team. I’m skeptical but hopeful that we replaced a few bad apples with less heralded replacements that can help us get to 6 wins.

I think the fair catch in the field of play typifies the pussification of football. Iu has done it three times in essence giving up the chance for a big play and tightening the game.

Indiana didn’t belong if you wanted the 12 best teams. They couldn’t beat Ole Miss, South Carolina or Alabama. Clearly strength of schedule didn’t matter. It needs to matter or it has to be done a different way. I do think Texas is one of the best teams in the country this year, but they dodged Bama, Tennessee and Ole Miss, so you really don’t know. Indiana couldn’t beat any of those teams.

I was curious about IU's schedule this year and looked it up. Mich and OSU with winning seasons and Nebraska & Washington broke even with 6-6. The rest all had losing seasons. I know IU can't control the other teams records but dang...
Western IL 4-8 W
Charlotte 5-7 W
UCLA 5-7 W
Maryland 4-8 W
Northwestern 4-8 W
Nebraska 6-6 W
Washington 6-6 W
Mich St 5-7 W
Mich 7-5 W
OSU 10-2 L
Purdue 1-11 W

Tubby won a title. Freeman won't ever come close.
Well, I see your point but if he wins tonight (and it’s looking pretty likely) I would say he’s close. Not saying he’ll win one but 99% of the coaches out there won’t ever get as close as he already is and he’s still a really young man.

It is supposed to be the 12 best teams. Anyone with any football knowledge could see IU was not a top 12 team. Great year for them, but nowhere near top 12.

This. One fraud down, another one to go tomorrow. Then 2 more bye team frauds will be gone by New years day.

IU looks like a gritty mid major school team trying to get a nice moral victory.
Yeah that’s probably a pretty good description. I still give them credit for beating what they did with JMU transfers but it’s not like they are at the elite level. They scratch and claw but clearly don’t have enough
