Per Sisk: Reed Bailey

Every school you mentioned has a bigger NIL budget than we do. All of them. And most of the players you mention weren't commanding starter money on the open market. That's why they accepted the roles they did.

Every statement you just made is incorrect.

You have absolutely no idea, evidence or facts about what any of those players I listed were asking for in NIL, and CBS posted an article just this past fall saying that coaches in the sport ranked us 4th in terms of NIL- the only school I mentioned that ranked higher was Kansas. Not Alabama or Duke.

And there is no evidence of what those guys were asking for money-wise on the NIL market, and there is zero evidence what this Davidson kid is asking for. You just made that up.

As long as we are getting guys with more than 1 year left I am thrilled. This was a one year experiment but definitely want more Oweh like transfers and less of the rest moving forward.

Agreed! Would be awesome to have at least 5-6 carry-overs every year that are the caliber of an Oweh

Braden Smith would be a shocker...don’t see it happening. He is actually a Purdue fan.

There's been weird smoke about him for a couple months, even Jack Pilgrim and J Kyle Mann speculated and insinuated and heavily hinted at Braden Smith in their interview back in February. Seems there is something there. Might not materialize, but perhaps money talks.

I'm not going to engage you in a debate because I can see that would be a waste of my time and energy, but you proved yourself that those schools have bigger NIL budgets than we do quite eloquently (completely by accident of course) by illustrating who they have coming off their bench, and all I have to do is contrast that with who we have coming off ours.

Rightttt because those guys were at their school and working the portal since January (backchannels), and our staff had 3 weeks to put together an entire team and had to get guys to buy-in to a product they had never seen before.

Using your brain is free.

Again, you just make statements based on zero facts, just whatever supports your opinion.

No comments about Saint-Supery? That is a cool basketball name. I mean, it's not Xree Hipp or Scientific Mapp but it's still cool.

You are technically correct .
The split however varies from school to school.
Since UK is THE basketball school, the basketball team will get a larger percentage split than our other league opponents.
The football first guys on the Lair have already been bitching about this.
Kentucky football doesn't recruit in the five star world like Bama,Georgia and LSU do.
Takes a hell of a lot more money to build a top 5 football recruiting class.

The 3PT% is misleading because he doesn't really shoot many threes. He averages 1.3 attempts per game.

The rebounding numbers are a little concerning too considering his size vs. the competition.
That is what I was saying a couple months ago when his name popped up on here and people were drooling over his 45% from 3, and I then pointed out that he had only attempted 16.

Andrew Carr..... 4.8 rebs a game.

Not to mention his rebounding took a huge dip post back injury. Before that he was definitely good for 7 or 8 a game. Not Oscar Tschibwe by any means, but his numbers don't tell the whole story.

You’re wasting a tremendous amount of time arguing with a known troll who also said we would never get Jasper Johnson due to lack of NIL. He also only comes on and talks about recruiting and how we won’t get anyone. Please stop engaging him.

Scored 19 on Gonzaga earlier in the year. 18 on Providence. Only 9 against Arizona.

This is the type of kid that, if you can find a way to have the talent and depth where a kid like this comes off the bench for you, you become SO elite. Or this kid starts and you get someone of the very near caliber who can be your first big off the bench.

Like what Florida does at the 4 spot with Haugh and Condon. If we can get 2 kids of this caliber to split the PF spot, we could be really elite in the front court.
I kept watching UF to see what is making them so good and they have some good guards but Haugh and Condon are whose taken them to another level. These guys are just efficient as heck and dominate around the rim. They keep every rebound alive for second chance points and possession. Condon looks like he's over the back on rebounds but his length just reaches over and makes it hard to get the ball off the board from them.

I know that's just a highlight reel, but you can tell he's the real deal. He's polished, he can shoot, he can score from anywhere and he's very fluid, not robotic.
I really like what I saw there, I would love it if Pope grabbed him to play Carr's role.
Fluid is the right word

Gets to the line a ton. Almost 7 attempts per game. Not a very good shooter from 2 for a big man.
Sounds like both of those come from agressively taking it to the basket which I like. Gets to the foul line that way but also probably gets some blocked or just has some tough attempts in close finishing in traffic

Well for a guy who just shoots one or two again that's a damn shame because this guy has a sweet release. I"m sure Pope can fix that easily in his system and dont expecte much drop in percentage with that form.
