SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Lonzo Ball tilted his head down as if a loss for words.
He was at a postgame press conference after third-seeded UCLA beat 14th-seeded Kent State 97-80 on Friday night, when a reporter asked about a published report that Ball’s mother, Tina, has suffered a stroke last month.
"I got no comment on that, man," said Ball, UCLA’s star point guard. "It's a family thing.”
The family had intended to keep the matter private until at least the end of the NCAA Tournament, and Ball looked slightly irritated. But seconds later, back came that stonefaced expression — the one Ball has been wearing during a season almost as remarkable for what he’s dealt with off the court than for what he’s accomplished on the court.

I feel like the mother would have an espn crew in the hospital room and be speaking out if she couldn't see her kids....
Saw that interview as well, even if that is the case why in the world would you say it while being filmed/recorded? He is making things more difficult for the three kids by the day.I'm not surprised by much but this guy is a piece of work.Lavar pretty much said in an interview I saw that she was picked for breeding as part of his master plan to have three boys.
Considering how he's already shaking down shoe companies, we're getting the picture how this guy has no conscience or morals. What are the odds that anything about Lavar Ball is untrue. This guy is an embarrassment.
