********OFFICIAL GAME THREAD********

I don't agree that Andrew and/or Aaron are "not that good". I think both have shown that they have good skills. They are just not mentally strong at all. They do not come to play many times, and they get in their own heads too much. I think they definitely need another year if they hope to have any shot at playing in the NBA.

Well to be fair it was 1 shot and you can miss on any given 1 shot. He is a good FT shooter.
Not sure about that - 74.2%?

The Harrisons are good. Everyone on this team is good. They will both play in the NBA.

That being said, Booker and Ulis are better.

Poor free throw shooting is just one of my pet peeves. I understand when Lee or Dakari miss them. They're just never going to be good from the line. But, there's no excuse for the Harrison's, Lyles, Towns, etc.

Since when is 74.2% not good?

The national average is 68.8 lol

Andrew is just not very good.
I disagree but will say that he is pressing, just thinking too much.
OK, well he's pretty damn mediocre then. Been that way for two years now. He did play very well in the tourney

last year, But other than that, you have a really inconsistent player. And even when he plays well, it's still more average

than great.

Andrew has been nothing but a liability today. Pushing too much, trying too hard??
I can't understand why he gets tore up over a game at crappy USC, when he expects to be able to play in the NBA. Especially considering that Cal made it a point in the pre-game Press Conference to tell the world that he had his back.

Why is he so unnerved?

Towns is in a slump lately. Last 2.5 games, he has not done much besides block shots. Hope he turns it around.

7 assists/2 turnovers - not bad

Shooting 48% from the field - not bad

Up 10 w/ WCS on the bench due to 2 very questionable fouls - no bad.

But I won't talk about free throws :::Sigh:::

It's to the point where if Andrew isnt playing good then he's a liability. I've reached my breaking point with him. When he has the ball it's either going to be a bad shot or a turnover. I don't know wtf that thing was earlier where he picked up his dribble around the free throw line and then jumped in the air and spun around while throwing the ball in Booker's general direction. Luckily the USC player bailed us out and tipped it out of bounds because it was going out anyway. He also might as well stop driving to the basket because a strong breeze can knock him off balance and make him throw up something crazy.

It's frustrating because as great as Ulis is, we still need a good Andrew for a title. Just wish he had Ulis' decision making, vision, passing ability and shot.

Andrew has made great plays and bad plays today. It happens. Ulis has bad games as well and Andrew picks up the slack. Both are great players though.

No Dukie v game would be complete if he didn't get a chance to slobber all over Coach K. I I think he forgot Phil Jackson is still alive even though he's not coaching. Btw, John wooden wasn't to bad either.

This is true but i think Aaron will make an all star game or two and Andrew will be in the league for a while as well so its not like there dog meat . People that bash the twins and especially Andrew really don't have good memories as Andrew has had maybe 3 bad games all season and this isnt one of them . He hasn't played bad or good in this game as he has been almost invisible which happens when you have so much talent .Booker was invisible against Vandy ..

Doesn't matter what the idiots fans think, only Coach Cal.

Definitely need to bring the intensity 2nd half - SO Carolina is desperate for a win, especially against this team.

Booker 4-for-6 from field, 2-2 at foul line, 11 points in 14 minutes. Ulis 1-3, 2-2 FT, 4 points, 5 assists, 1 steal in 12 minutes

Because he spent the whole first half being a liability.

We need to land the knockout punch early this half, so they will lose interest in this game and start thinking about spring football and baseball.

Lee playing well.

LOL at DickeV and the other guy making a big deal out of WCS and Andrew not starting this half???

Its the White platoon...like EVERY OTHER GAME this year! Dumb-arses.

Burr looks like he's 85 years old. It's way past time for him to give it up.
