Today UK running back commitment A.J. Rose told me that even if Ohio State offers he will stick with Kentucky. They wanted him to play linebacker at their camp but he said he wants to be a running back and only that, so they let him play running back and he garnered a lot of praise. He said their interest is flattering, as it would be for any Ohio recruit, but he's UK with or without an Ohio State offer.

One thing I didn't know -- Rose is a 13-year Boy Scout and will become an Eagle Scout at the end of this year for his work he's doing in service to a charity in his area.

Also, a play off the point about Ohio State.

Right around the time Luke Fortner was about to make his commitment, Ohio State's coaches told him to hold off because he could come be a champion at Ohio State. His response was, 'No thanks. I'll go be a champion at Kentucky. They were doing the fast talk thing and I really wasn't feeling that.'
