Who will win the most titles in 7 years?

Welcome players to the NBA Rupp Rafters Playoffs!!!

The goal was to see which team could win the most championships in 7 years.

Voters please review each team roster and their arguments and vote for the team you think best accomplished the objective. You will be allowed to change your vote. This round of voting is for 3 days.

I think maybe you take things too personally.

I'd also question what comments you're referring to and that you finish ahead of me every time, but I suppose if the best team over 7 seasons is one that will finish with two players on it, reality can be whatever you want it to be.

I felt the “integrity of the whole process” was a pretty dramatic reasoning behind your voting in a silly draft like this. And yes, I do take it personal (on a message board level) as this is back to back NBA draft championships I’ve been in with you making a similar comment. Maybe just legit hate the shit out of my teams, but your rhetoric is annoying lol.

That being said, I still like you. You’re a good poster, knowledgeable, but just suck at building teams in these drafts 😜

Hotel Blue has a hell of a squad, led by a former UK stud. 100% his team should win a title. I think I have a higher likelihood at multiple titles with the immediate dominance of my squad, but I cannot fault a voter for picking his team. Pretty cuck of me, but it is what it is.

You either see my squad as so dominant the first few years that you don’t see his team winning more titles amongst the others, or you see his as potentially winning multiple titles without the inevitable drop off of my team after 3-4 years.

I bet the 10 other guys feel the same way about their teams. Or I hope they do.

Doing one every year requires some...flexible arguments. I'm glad no one ever searches for past takes during these. I think five years ago I called Kyrie Irving a headcase loser and then won with him the next time.

It be too much time and effort but I really should keep a notepad on all you..... some of your hot takes from 2-3 years ago would be fun to bring back to the forefront.

I think this is the one team where you weren't guaranteed to win the first few years... I can easily see @hotelblue team losing the first year and then taking the next two.

By that point your team would definitely be to old to win anymore.

Thoughts on another draft before the season or shall I hold off

Only 2 weeks left.... my worry is the people will lose interest quickly
 
I would also add, in an all-UK draft, it would be more interesting if Davis was omitted. Seems his team would dominate the voting in such a draft.

Very cool. If you want a Wild West approach where everyone has a chance, omit Davis as a draft option in the All-UK draft.
 
I had to hold my nose and vote for hotelblue. While I don't care for Kyrie Irving nor Draymond Green, both were key contributors to title winning teams and that can't be overlooked.

drcats team may only have 5 remaining players in four years. Hard to win championships with 40 year old Lebron and Rondo. Several players with histories of significant injuries with Steph, Blake, and Vucevik. And Danny Green looked like he was on his retirement tour this season. If it's a popularity contest then I love this team, and I would want these players as a group over hotels' roster.
 
So I was bored and made a custom league on nba2k. Ran it for three seasons so far. Rosters stay set. 6 teams in East. 6 in west. Rest of the teams fillEd with leftovers. No salary cap. Trades off. Every team stays the same for seven years except for adding draft picks. I am on season 4.. I can post results but I will wait until after you all decide on a winner this way.
