If you said we could have Ament or Fulgueiras, I think I'd take Fulgueiras. Even Bailey maybe. Ament is awfully thin, I mean Bradshaw-thin.
No reason for him to rush now since he’s waited this long. A weak portal(free agency) class only helps his value.

Hard to deny the draw to Duke and their likely upcoming championship ... they're the "it" program right now, as much as it sucks, and Boozer et al. are going to keep them in contention for next year, too.

You said basically this same thing earlier this year. That Duke had too many freshmen starters and that Scheyer would not be able to keep all the egos happy with their playing time. He appears to actually know what he is doing

Recruiting is tough, especially now in this day and time. Hopefully the staff learned from the Wilson recruitment not to put all their eggs in one basket.

How could that even happen when we already have Kam. I don't think the staff is even considering Ament as a possibility anymore. They have moved on.
If UK can get some really great players in the portal they should go ahead and take him and don't wait on any HS kids that are in it for the money.
Pretty sure he is waiting to see where his more experienced competition is going as well as how much money will be left.

And he’s likely better in a single college season scenario. Ament has more long term upside but Williams has a better current frame and is a proven shooter

I would like be a fly on the wall to hear Cal's recruiting pitch. I would not have ever believed that Arkansas would stand a chance to be in the conversation with Ament. Does not make any rhyme or reason unless Tyson or Walmart dropped a bag.

He's not coming here, if he's goes to Dook he's an idiot, they have 4 guys at his position and if he does somethings up, especially if they loose again. Something odd there. But look go get the big transfers, but especially the guys who care.
I'd rather lose in the,SS with guys crying and seeming to care than the E8 with assholes who don't. Talk title and bring who you want but outside of that **** em.

Ament will be a far better player in the future, but if I'm only getting a guy for a year, I think I'd rather have Mgbako. (Which it seems like who we are targeting at the moment.) He's at least proven he can compete in a high level conference.
Well if he by any miracle comes to Kentucky, would have been one of the best trolling jobs against Duke.
He is a good player. The only thing going to Duke he will compete with Brown, Buzzer and Khamenia ( which impressed as well very good shooter) …..
If I was him I would remember the Duke year which Barrett , Zion and Cam Reddish how that worked out. If he looks at that other schools might have a chance….including Arkansas and us.
