So for liking a tweet the dude has lost his ride completely? Cancel Culture sucks.
This was very much going to happen anyway. He has had a horrid season. Likely was then looking for a way out of his contract.

At the same time, he represents a lot of brands. Be smarter. It’s his own fault.

To be fair it's not like anyone else with Legacy has had a better season. Their whole organization has been irrelevant for years. I mean the last win they had was Aric Almirola in 2014.

Yeah definitely agree with you there. Im sure Noah will get another ride. Might have to work his way up again by taking an xfinity ride. He’s a good driver, just very immature and does stupid stuff on track that almost always hurts him.

^Easy to do when leader is playing it safe. His pit crew screwed his chances.
It was still a good run for Chase, no need to take anything away from it. McDowell drove a great race and his crew made mistakes during the race but he overcame it. Elliott will have a lot of momentum going into another road course next week at Watkins Glen.

Good win for McDowell, someone different. Chase was closing in on the last lap.
McDowell was the best car out there today. I've said for years, let someone like him or Allmendinger get a win with their road course experience in 2nd tier equipment and the additional rovals/rc tracks, throws a curveball in the playoff picture. If he survives the first round of the playoffs, he is a good superspeedway racer too with Talladega & Charlotte roval in the Round of 12. He would be racing for the Championship 4.

Extending him paid off. They wanted to add a 3rd car for Zane Smith but Smith would be better off staying patient, go to the Xfinity Series or see what Aric Almirola does. Hold out for a better ride. He has some real potential to be a star in the Cup Series. Front Row Motorsports is fortunate to have McDowell who is consistent, takes care of his equipment and now 2 of the last 3 years in the playoffs for a lesser funded team.

He has a lot of growing up to do. It's between the ears for him. A talented driver but his reputation precedes him and there is reason why many of his peers coming up the same time he did got full-time Cup rides before him. No way he was keeping that ride with a sponsor like Wendy's much like McDonald's being a sponsor for Larson up until 2020.

McDowell's crew also let him down with a mistake one stop with a problem changing the left rear tire and Suarez was able to leave the pits in 1st. Difference was, he clearly was the man to beat, drove a smart race saving his stuff and would not be surprised if he did it again next week. I love a race where it is in the driver's hands and his road course skills finally paid off to win his 1st road race, 2nd win in the Cup Series overall.

Nemechek a front runner to get Gragson's #42 ride. Even heard rumors about this before the suspension.

John Hunter Nemechek deserves a shot in a quality ride. For a team like Legacy Motor Club, Erik Jones & Nemechek is a good driver lineup. You see what John did in the Truck Series and this year in the Xfinity Series.

Whichever executive that says they need to do more road races should be fired. The last 2 weeks was some of the most boring racing ever. I thought 2 races at The Glen and Sonoma was 2 too many but 7? Just another example of NASCAR not knowing their audience.

To even things up, I'd have the winner of the previous race be forced to start last the next week.

Buescher 3 wins this year, Preece climbed out of the car but being transported to a local medical center for further evaluation. That crash reminded of Rusty's crash at Talladega in 1993.

It seems that NASCAR has tried to imitate stick and ball sports with the chase points system. I have been thinking of the next stupid thing they could do to try and copy other sports and think I have the perfect plan for them. It would be similar to the NCAA basketball bracket so when they go to the chase they would pair up the seeds 1-16, 2-15, 3-14 etc. Then through the first 3 races instead of eliminating the bottom 4 point accumulating teams out of the 16 teams they would eliminate the loser of each matchup. So if the 1 seed accumulated less points than the 16 seed the one seed would be eliminated. It would get down to 8 teams after 3 races, 4 teams after 6 races and then down to 2 teams after 9 races with the highest placing team of the final 2 winning it all in the final race.

They seem to be all about trying to create the most excitement they can and how else to do that than for 3 or 4 of their cash cows like Gibbs, Hendrick and Penske get eliminated in the first 3 races. The way it is now there isn't much chance for a guy in 1st place going in to not gain enough points to move on from the round of 16 to the round of 12 or even from 12 to 8. This format would totally shake it up and some top 5 teams could lose in the first or 2nd round.

So according to NASCAR you can't discriminate against someone's race unless they are white and then it's okay? Well the simple solution is to identify as a Native American like Elizabeth Warren. They obviously have opened the door for people to identify as what they want so there is the solution.
