-Our deck plants went from looking ok to incinerated in the course of like 16 hours. We need some rain ASAP.
-Busy time ahead the next couple of weeks. Montreal (work) this week, lake (fishing and slamming drank) the 4th-7th, Denver (work) for three days....capped off by 2 days in Lillington, NC
-Lake truck, a Silverado with a million miles I bought on the cheap, is on its last leg. Used exclusively to navigate the completely decrepit road to the dock. Has been slammed into several trees, trapped in the mud for long periods, lambasted with hail. My two year old named it "Poop Poop" this year. Will be sad when ol' Poop Poop can't go anymore.
-Terry Wilson is fast AF but can he throw worth a shit?
The problem I have is I am too fuggin exhausted to enjoy it. I was up all night long monitoring the fire. 300° to 200°, to restocking charcoal (which is a pain in the ass with drip pan and platesetter)...
We have a primo deck setup with wicker couches and outdoor rugs... 5 minutes before all show up, a deluge soaked my ass and rugs, and cushions.

going back to Jamaica in January. Looked at Bahamas, but know what I'm getting...which is caribbean ganja delivered to your room in Jamaica via the "help" there. all inclusive is cool, all inclusive when you know you will have all the drink and all the smoke you want for a week is better

We departed Tampa 1.5 hours late last night because of storms. I had to pay a GD $41 taxi ride home because Sunday buses stopped running at 10:30 PM from the airport. Grrrrrrrrr.

If Lymes Disease.... that’s a bit more serious and has impact on his well-being. Just in time for Kentucky visit and Beach vacation.
The other thing we want to avoid is a spiking fever which will most certainly trigger the scary-as-shit Febrile seizure issue... which is something you never want to witness an innocent baby (or any creature, really) go through.

Florida + sweltering heat - June 16-24
Eastern KY + East TN July 2-7. Stopping in Central KY on July -1-2, AR on June 30 and July 7-8. Cancelled Colorado trip because dude backed out. No bus. Rental car.

Water park today. Mostly sucked. Actually it wasn’t so bad, blistering the bottoms of my feet trying to entertain the moody 13 yo.
got a buddy I work with that fights on the Hard Rock MMA circuit around here. minor league UFC. whatev. fought last week in Covington at the 185 class and won. is going to fight at their next event in Louisville at 4th Street Live. never been to anything like that before last week. was dope. those guys are legit maulers. wife loved it. but of course she did. is like her taking me to the strip club. her seeing all those dudes. but still pretty cool.

Kid has been at a horse riding learning camp all week. her little group of girls got to spend the night at the farm and camp out the last night and the instructors took them on a night ride with the horses. she loved it.
