Moscow Murders

Odd. What's the possibility of more than just him being involved?
Not sure but with him in school for Phd in criminology or already earned, could very well be tactic to throw the police off. Having two murderers in the house would even seem tougher keeping quiet than one murderer.

Hoping we get a lot from this PC in 30 minutes. If its held back, might mean there is someone else they are still looking at.

Probable cause affidavit from Idaho isn't supposed to be released until he's physically in Idaho and served with the warrant, which could take a week or more.

Sounds like video of the car will turn out to be pretty important evidence and that they found it 2,500 miles away without having a license plate number.

I'm on really shitty wifi right now and saw a screenshot of where this dude may have bragged on 4chan about hanging intestines from the ceiling fan and sticking his knife in one of their c-words (his words, not mune). Then said good luck catching him hiding put in PA.

A PhD candidate with a big ego. Probable narcissist. I bet he was shocked when the police showed up because he probably thought he was the modern day zodiac.

The earlier Twitter thread above has a screenshot of that 4 chan post.

Not going to be very hard to get a conviction if he said that. Yikes.
Since DNA evidence apparently led to his identification and arrest, it would seem that his conviction is a lock. I’ll be keenly interested as to how they used the DNA to get him. Genetic technology has become incredible and this may have been a new technique used to find a criminal.

"WSU is a short drive across the state line from the University of Idaho. The two universities are partners in several academic programs, and students sometimes attend classes and seminars or work at the neighboring schools."

So it was not a serial killer and not a stranger passing through.

If he's got wounds on his hands is what I want to know.

Well, we don’t know yet that he isn’t a serial killer.

We also don’t know if he was a stranger to his victims. Or if he killed on an impulse.

Time will tell.

After seven weeks, any wounds would have healed. Depending on how sloppy he was, though, he might have some significant scars.
Cuts are usually deep as the hand tends to slide onto the blade resulting in deep hand wounds so there would be scarring. His car, no matter how thoroughly he washed it will light up like a Christmas tree when they luminal it. This kind of killing should have DNA everywhere he was especially in that car.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was old fashioned gumshoe detective work that got him.
The white Hyundai was of interest early on. Today it was stated there is 20000 cars in the US that matched the one pictured. After that it’s just a matter of elimination.

CNN just reported it was a DNA match that initially didn't hit so they ran it through one of those Ancestry databases and got him. FBI been on him for 4 days.

I bet that DNA was from his hand wounds from the stabbing. I am waiting to know about the hands.

What we do know is that if convicted, his punishment should be an extremely painful and terrifying death.

Best he can get here in Idaho is a long appeal process and lethal injection. That is if they can procure the lethal drugs on time to do it.

The latest death row scumbag, Gerald Pizzuto, convicted of double murder in 1986, was scheduled to die earlier this month, but the lethal drugs couldn't be procured in time.

Now the libs are crying that he's terminally ill (been in "hospice" care for 2 YEARS!!!), he had a rough childhood, blah, blah , blah. The MSM is horrified, condeming the cruelty!!!....

Meanwhile, he's resting comfortably at taxpayer expense.

Interesting this girl went to high school with him and said he was ”a heavy heroin user.” She has some photos.

We don't know the first part yet. It was definitely not a drifter. I bet if he would not have got caught he would have become a serial killer. Hopefully this was his first murder.

I encountered a drifter back about 20 years ago in a national forest. That person probably freaked me out more than any person I've ever encountered. I just don't trust drifters.

The guy had floated down the Mississippi on a piece of styrofoam that he got in St. Louis. The kind barges use.

The Golden State killer was nabbed due to a family match from the 1840s. I hope I don't have too many cousins that are serial killers because my family's DNA is all over those sites. I have at least 10 first cousins on ancestry.com.

This is from Wikipedia:.
On June 15, 2016, the FBI released further information related to the crimes, including new composite sketches and crime details;[134] a $50,000 reward was also announced.[169] The initiative included a national database to support law enforcement's investigating of the crimes and to handle tips and information.[170] Eventually, "through the use of genetic genealogy searching on GEDmatch, investigators identified distant relatives of DeAngelo—including family members directly related to his great-great-great-great grandfather dating back to the 1800s. Based on this information, investigators built about 25 different family trees. The tree that eventually linked to [DeAngelo] alone contained approximately 1,000 people. Over the course of a few months, investigators used other clues like age, sex, and place of residence to rule out suspects populating these trees, eliminating suspects one by one until only DeAngelo remained."[16]

I like the comedy bit where the black comedian is talking about never throwing a can or bottle down in the park because it mind wind up next to some dead white girl.

I'm glad they have the guy in custody. I was starting to think they would never catch the person. So he lived in PA but went to school in Washington? Or did he just flee to PA?
