9 seed Pacific down 69-18 in the 2nd half to 8 seed Pepperdine. It was 56-9 at halftime. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such a beat down in conference play.

Yep….when Todd Svoboda out scored Alan Houston. Glanced and that game was 42-17 at half.
Nice Olowokandi reference. I never would have remembered he played at Pacific. Funny to think a #1 pick came out of that program.

I know it was out of conference but reminded me of 2015, when we held UCLA to 7 points in first half. Like 45-7? Is my memory correct?
Final is 102-43….pretty damn close that that game.
Yeah. And at one point we were up something like 23-0. It was wild.
The Tiggers ended the season 5-27. They were really bad, but to illustrate how random the game of basketball can be, a few weeks ago Pacific was crushed 76-28 by St Mary's. Three days later, they went wire to wire with Gonzaga before falling 82-73.
Pepperdine lost their previous game by 26 points. I wonder if that 85 point swing is the largest in NCAA history in back to back games?
