March Madness 2016: CBS' Selection Sunday show expanding to two hours

That's going to suck if they drag out the brackets for 2 hours.

However, if they show every bracket in the 1st 15 minutes, then have the experts break down each matchup, that will be great.
Agree. Hopefully they still get through the brackets quick and then do more interviews with coaches and breakdown of the bracket

It's already too long.

But it's better than ESPN "in other news" cough cough NFL.........

It gives Dick Vitale more time to prepare his bitching monologue on how its a disgrace a certain team with 12 losses got left out.

I have always wondered what happens if one of the late games goes into double OT or something especially if it involves a team not on the bubble. You can't just start the show at 5:30 if a game is going on that has bracket implications.

A 2 hour program for something that should take 30 minutes at most. Reveal the bracket and get the hell out of there. Don't need mind-numbing interview with the selection committee chair or the gawd-awful 'analysis' of who didn't make it or the even worse 'expert' picks. IMO.

Maybe have guest commentators like Pitino and Boeheim for their 2 cents worth

On a couple of occasions I think we were playing late in the SEC final, when it possibly had bracket implications, but were told that the committee had already made it's decision before the game. Could be a faulty memory on my part too.

"expert"

i would rather call them random dudes who likes to talk about basketball.

yeah, if they do it that way though, they'll lose viewers. 2 hours is too long, IMO, for the casual fan
For me - for most of us, actually - it wouldn't be a bad thing at all
