Louisville is better than UK

It’s obvious to see that they are a much better coached team!! ND would name the score against us.
They had a big momentum game at home, they are better than expected but I don’t think Notre dame would name the score against us, I think nd is overrated like they are every year. Brohm is doing a good job but, let’s see how he does when he has to play FSU Clemson and unc every year

I absolutely can’t stand anytbing to do with UL so it’s very painful to watch him come in and immediately turn their program around.

We are still in the “process” of building our program in year what, year 11?

I’m sick of the BS and low expectations! There’s one way to achieve excellence and that’s to demand it!

He has got to play IU, ga tech and nc state, stoops has to play Georgia Tennessee Florida(who is good more than than they are bad. And usually has to play one good SEC west team every year. I hate Louisville to, and want them to lose every game

I always find statements like this silly. Similar to "they wanted it more." The way to achieve excellence is to out recruit the teams you play against. We play against really good teams that out recruit us. They don't.

They are 6-0 and just beat the best team on their schedule. They will likely be a favorite in the rest of their games. I hate it, but I don't think they are a dark horse. I think they have a legit shot.
Who are they getting in over. UGA and Michigan If they win out are locks. The pac 12 champion between usc/washington/Oregon get in. And FSU is in if they win out

They're definitely not better. Doesn't mean they can't beat us but still. They beat a massively overrated Notre Dame team at home who just is in the midst of a brutal schedule.

It’s not like we would go undefeated or dominate in their conference either. It’s not the SEC being tough, it’s the coaches. You’ve been programmed to believe we suck because we play in a good conference. We suck because we jump up and down with joy for mediocre results. It’s honestly that simple. If we get out recruited, that’s on the coaching.

Louisville will have to go undefeated to even have a shot. For that to happen they would probably have to beat FSU in the ACC Championship Game. If they were to do that and be undefeated that means Louisville would have beat 2 Top 10 teams and 3 other teams currently ranked.

As of now, Georgia has 21 four and five star players committed for the 2024 class. What coach do you suggest we go after that could get us that many?

Yeah all these people want some new coach that can recruit better but have no realistic names and more importantly can't explain where the NIL money will come from.

Up said fans butts I suppose.

In your scenario 12-0 fsu would play 12-0 Louisville for a winner take all acc title game.

Don't think UL is going 12 and 0 but just saying.
I looked at UOFL schedule, the only game they can lose are @miami and maybe against us. They get two really bad teams at home, and go to a really bad Pitt team. Duke has a small chance to beat them but I don’t know if there QB is injured or not

Worst case scenario is yall go 10-2 and that’s worst case

Right now (10/8/2023) UofL is not the better program. They certainly look better than UK this year but, it's a single year we are talking about.
If the playoffs had already expanded to 12 teams I think UofL would be one of the teams playing. They have an incredibly weak schedule and I don't think we will be able to beat them either.
So, revisit this subject in a couple of years. If UofL has run off 3 straight wins over us and made a playoff appearance then yes, I will say they are the better program.

I think playing in the ACC Championship with a chance to go to the playoffs is a "legitimate shot" as I said. They will likely be favored in every game they have left, until the ACC Championship if they get there. I didn't say they would do it, but they do have a legit shot at it. BTW, they didn't barely beat ND, the beat them bad and looked good doing it. We beat the shit out of #22 Florida and started dreaming of Atlanta. They beat ND just as bad and we might be the best team they have left on their schedule.

The UK team that was on the field tonight in Athens would not beat Notre Dame or UoL. Matter of fact, I am not sure who that UK team we saw tonight could beat.

I can forsee Louisville being 11-0 and playing us at the end of the season with major playoff implications on the line for them (in the run up to facing Florida State for the ACC Championship). Still lots of football to be played for that but it's a distinct possibility after they beat Notre Dame tonight.

Notre Dame has been the most chronically over-rated team for decades. I fully expect Kentucky would beat them at home.
Notre Dame has something we don't have: a quarterback. That alone means they probably beat us this season.

I hope they are 11-0, so we at least have a chance to spoil their season. They will likely beat us tho.

It proves you don’t need over a decade to build a program these days!! You all can worship Stoops for Music City Bowls all you want but he isn’t THAT guy.

In Brohm’s first year, UL is already a better program than Stoops has us in a decade.
This is what bothers me. I want no one else but Stoops, buuuuuut we are told how it takes years to build a program and use the excuse that Joker left Stoops the worst roster in Power 5 history. We DOMINATE a terrible Louisville program for half a decade, and then a coaching change and less than one year later, they are better than us. I see it happen to other programs all the time where a coaching change flips this next season. I understand that building over a long period of time brings stability, but we will never have that lightning in a bucket season where everything just clicks.

Now, give us Louisville's schedule and we may be in the playoff hunt, too.

Well well well. Here they come

Just remember, as Granny Hawkins says, “all that big talk ain’t worth doodle de squat” especially since we square off later this year.

We shall see

I mean it’s possible but I have my doubts we could even with that cupcake schedule.

Here who comes? People who don’t accept mediocrity?

You won’t have a gotcha moment because there’s I would love more than to completely obliterate them and I hope they are undefeated if it happens.

Louisvilles win was nice against ND, but the Irish are likely headed to the Cheeze It bowl at best. They are a 8-4 fringe top 25 team. Brohm winning his first year could be a blessing or curse for them, because they will never have a schedule this easy again. Their schedule will stiffen going forward. Heck, they don’t even play UNC, FSU, or Clemson this season. Had they remained in divisions, then UL would have a much tougher road. However,
they lucked out a bit. They likely won’t play another ranked team all year long, unless Duke beats ncst and Florida St to remain in top 25. That game is also at home.

They’ve beaten a bad IU team, a poor BC team, mediocre GT and NC st and a pretty solid ND team. That doesn’t make me fear them in the least. They appear to be a much improved squad. They will end up in a pretty good bowl game too. With that said, UL could be 10-1 headed into that game against the Cats, and I think UK will still have a good shot in that game.

Let's not kid ourselves. UL's schedule is Charmin soft. But I have serious doubts that UK could go 9-3 with our lack of passing game and Stoops' teams usually lay at least two eggs every year. One on the road and usually after the bye week.

I bought UK-UL football tickets 3 weeks ago thinking it would be a game we are favored in and probably win comfortably.

Now….I’m not looking forward to going there with their annoying fans. As of today, UL would be favored by……4.5? 5?
