Kentucky is so far away

We are not far behind at all. One man is.

This is 2/3 years that UK has had the best line up in all of college basketball. According to metrics and anyone who has watched them play, yet those line ups did not get extended time together.

Had the right team got the minutes all season long UK would still be playing.

Nope. Minutes would have had minimal impact. The blatant, glaring, obvious problem is coaching. Why can't people see that?

I don’t know, possibly the plus minus of that actual line up. Lol.

Plus minus tracks the score when those guys are in the game. When they play Kentucky wins those minutes and easily.

Thus if they played together for 25- 30 minutes a game, more than likely they win.

I agree coaching is a huge problem but sometimes players can overcome that and the numbers suggest that group of guys could.

Also Anthony Davis had that ability.

Imagine a hungry new coach with a functioning NIL system behind him...competitive the first year with transfers, build the base the second year, and by year 3 in the conversation for a title.

No one knows the future, but UNC, Duke, and UCONN, are doing ok with guys that weren’t proven.
09-10, 10-11, 11-12, 14-15 Cal? No clear cut replacement. Recent Cal? Not hard to replace. There's probably a lot of coaches who probably won't get his recruiting classes, but could do the same or more with solid freshman and portal players.
