Ed is virtue signal all star perpetually offended by everything and his takes are the dumbest on this board.
Nobody is defending what Gruden said, that I know of, but the hypocrisy of the NFL having criminals playing in their league is the problem. Thought police run wild, a guy who beat his pregnant girlfriend is fine, a guy who sent dumb e-mails is not.
If you can't see the difference and understand the difference, then you are part of the problem.

Yeah, no and no. Not sure why it’s difficult to say Gruden screwed himself here AND those very same players deserve no place in the league. They’re not mutually exclusive. That’s a whole separate conversation that I’m not sure what has to do with my original comment.

Gruden dug his own hole, but players have done far worse and still get to play because people think sayi g dimb stuff is worse than doing actual crimes.

You replied to me initially my man. All I did was respond—that’s not being sensitive.

First, I never said one or the other was worse. Obviously serious proven crimes such as domestic abuse are terrible and should be given more attention.

Second, just because certain players have not received the same level of scrutiny as Gruden, does not mean the scrutiny on Gruden now is an injustice. Gruden deserves to be fired.

Lastly, oh please, stop trying to make this political one side versus the other. We’re all UK fans here, throw that garbage to the side it’s not what we’re here for.

I agree on what Gruden did was dumb. If he deserved to be treated this way, so do the guys who have committed crimes and still get to play was my point.

I just think it's hypocrisy for a guy like Moss to go off on his rant knowing he did far worse and got to play himself into the HOF even though he was not deserving to get to play based on the things he did.

You don't think it's odd that this investigation had 650K e-mails and these are the only ones that have come to light? I'm not saying the e-mails are ok, but it seems a little fishy to me.

I am no Gruden fan. I don't agree with what he said, but if these guys got 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances for far worse, why doesn't he get the same consideration. I've heard players be very critical of Goodell.
