Also the 2 chubby bald guys that both wore #22 jerseys, waaaaay after a respectable male should be wearing jerseys to games, bailed on the Lorenzen game. Not sure why the NKY chubby bald bailed but the Fairdale version obviously bailed to go hangout in a New Albany, Indiana casino all night. Despicable.

* Todd (of Breaking Bad and Friday Night Lights fame) has become an increasingly fantastic bit actor. He just perfectly unusual looking, weird, and autistic.

* Lynn Bowden has 72 tattoo, and a child. This is how we need to continue to recruit.

* <-- will eat up all the crow, happily.

If there's one saving grace to Bowden at QB, it's that Stoops' preferred offense is to throw the ball zero times a game, and run on 114% of downs. Privately, I think he's thrilled.

* I don't think Bowden threw the ball well at all on Saturday (by normal SEC QB standards), but half the battle sometimes is just having the stones to lob it up there and see what happens. Ahmad Wagner draws a pass interference call. Clevan Thomas makes a great adjustment to catch a TD. When your QB runs for 200 yards, you don't really need to be Tom Brady. You've just gotta pick your spots and make plays, and he did.

* at Georgia. Ugh. :cry:

Get thru this one, and the rest of the schedule is a pretty easy run. This feels like one of those games where we're going to have to reminder ourselves that we weren't gonna win it anyways. Tough to say when you end up getting blown out.

(but hey, anything could happen)

* Matthew Mitchell = :joy::joy:

He's such a clown show that I love him.

* The announcers Saturday were terrible. I almost stopped and rewound it at one point to double check my hearing. They kept contradicting one another....

kentucky really has benefitted from experience on the line, and a good group of receivers, which has been a huge help to their passing game.
yeah, they've really struggled throwing the football this year.

o_O

* Bengals look good.

Shorts:

- Would prefer a little more orange and red in the leaves but another beautiful autumn Saturday in the Commonwealth.

- As always, much love to Jaimanthony on the lodging and general hospitality. Y’all are the best.

- Great seeing everyone, even UKO! Your wife is cool as hell.

- Apologies to Richie- sorry bro. Everyone left. Didn’t realize it was so late.

- Would have liked to see BBdK but guy has two dogs. I know how dogdad life is.

- Willy, on the other hand, can GGP.

- Wasn’t even that hungover yesterday. Stuck with Hudy Delights pregame and adhered to my controversial “grab a hard buzz and let it ride” during the game strategy.

- As stated, we needed that W and we got it. That may have been the difference between a respectable follow-up season and the bottom falling out.

- Boat was peak Boat, of course. His birthday, Keeneland, homecoming king sash, pork and bourbon.

- I’ve watched a F4 game with Geese. He’s surprisingly calm during basketball too.

- I’m a recruiting vet so not counting my chickens before they hatch but this class has a chance to be epic, and we’re going to return a couple real guys, too (Allen, Brooks, Whitney, Quick, Juzang - all possibilities). Cunningham is like a bigger, more offensively-gifted Marcus Smart. A bull with skill who makes guys better. Giving that dude Boston and Clarke is unfair.

- Really not hard getting out of bed on a Monday morning when the weather is awesome, the Wildcats got a W over the weekend, basketball recruiting is looking crazy good, #1 v. #2 in hoops weeks away, college football is about to get loco and we have Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas beckoning.

- That 11yo Kumon kid who helps High Schoolers with their math homework can GGP.

- 49ers D is ridiculous. Held the Rams to under 200 yards and 7 points. Robert Saleh (DC) has a great backstory...never stop chasing your dreams. Tom Brady vs. Jimmy G Super Bowl could be interesting. Women viewership would be at an all time high.

- The Rugby World Cup has been fun late night entertainment. Still don't understand all the rules and some of the traditions (especially the scrum and side out throw ins) seem outdated and useless. But it's hard not to notice that the USA would be absolutely dominant if our football athletes played.

- Randall Cobb started at QB for Kentucky a few games. So another WR before Roark. And Derrick Ramsey was really a TE.

First crew tailgate I have been to in a few years...everyone is always hospitable and genuinely great to have a cold one with. Many props to the Schem's for allowing my better half and I to partake. Food and company were awesome. Thx.

Chad and I always get along off of here...fun to talk to, and his lady was wonderful. My wife loved talking to her, especially about the dog rescues, of which she is a strong advocate as well.

Good to see Bonz, Boat and meet his Mrs; Hov and B$, and placed a few faces w/ names that I have seen roaming around on here.

Heard a "UKO is a dork" from somewhere in the crowd during the game, so not sure who or where it came from.

Weekend shorts:

Saturday was a real WWDT day. Perfect weather, hit up Keeneland 12-330. Clubhouse was popping, left right about the time it was getting too crowded.

Arrive home, lass is on time and ready to tailgate. Quick change and a few presents later and en route to the Extrav.

The hot beef sambos were the best ever. Anth’s porkbelly was very tasty. Great to see everyone, even UKO:) Loved talking with Chad’s better half. Was enjoyable learning he was Prom King in high school. Pumpkin pie shots were on point.

We got it done on the field.

Golf scramble yesterday. Dropped several bombs but putter was on fire.

Anyways, just a great weekend. Thanks everybody.

If I had known Bonzo was going to be there and BBdK wasn't, I would've made the trip.

I wanted to be there. And I actually did wear my #22 jersey in honor of the big guy.

Being Mr. Reliable of the crew definitely has its drawbacks the once-in-a-blue moon you decide to miss something -- always get a kick out of how personal my very rare absences are taken by a few around here - Anth hasn't acknowledged my texts since lol, and my ears were burning HOT all day long.

Just wanted to be around home this weekend, and once wife informed me she was hanging w/ mom all day/night, I linked up w/ Tommy & we hit the Book/Casina for the game & some cards after - had a blast, and ended up a cool $950 on the night. Helluva streak going right now to say the least.:fire:

-I last wore that Lorenzen jersey when I was 20'ish (Sloot probably knows?) years old in Tuscaloosa, btw.

Go Cats!

My favorite days of being “around home” typically involve pulling an all nighter booze and gambling fest and hitting the hay around 8am.
Yeah, whatever that nonsense above tried to justify is bullshit and this is exactly what happened. Bailed on the JLo game and WCCs attendance, weak.

Just wanna stay home, and spends the night at Horseshoe casina. K.

LOL, ^ exactly what I'm talking about. "Justify" :joy: Who else here has to justify to Anth and others satisfaction when they miss an out of town game? Very weird, but I'm humbled.

Also, I couldn't care less about which 1 game per year WCC decides to attend, has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not I'm in the mood to be Lexington in for yet another weekend. Dude hasn't visited me in a decade, F him.

Lol, whatever makes you feel better, bubba.

I was set to visit you last year for the Kansas basketball game when you cancelled.

So, that’s two in a row, bub.

Bitter and spinning is no way to go through life. Take care.

- The girl wasn't feeling well, plus we had my little cousin's birthday yesterday...decided to skip the game and head to the casino with BBdK.

- Had a blast, got as hammered as I've gotten since I've been here.

- Won a little on college football, thanks to betting big on the Cincy game.

- Won about $400 on blackjack. "Only" stayed until about 2:30am this time. Should have stayed later, table was hot AF...but didn't want to push my luck on what time I strolled in, being I was 30 mins from my place.

- Uber smashed into a deer on the way back to my place. I was halfway asleep in the back seat, hear the driver scream...look up and see a deer head basically explode.

Car was f***ed, but we were in the middle of nowhere Indiana, Uber said it would be a couple hours before they could get anyone to help...gave him an extra 20 to finish the ride back to The Highlands.

- BBdK and I are pretty similar, been pretty much zero drama. Always have a great time.

- Ex is coming to Chicago with me after the election...then to NC, as I decide where I'll be heading next. Part of the deal. Although it'll probably be Mississippi for Thanksgiving.

Nice weekend back at home. Low-key tailgate with the GeeseFeeders before turning some coin over to Keeneland with my annual visit. Top notch playlist and selection of barrel picks, complete with Geese scolding a group of wild adolescents for tossing a football too close to our set up.

Got to bounce around a few tailgates Saturday and watched the game with my dad- perfect football weather night. Rough ride home yesterday, tho.

I dont think the Bowden at QB is a long-term fix, but respect knucks to the staff and the offense for putting a plan together that was good enough to win for that particular game. WR's even picked it up a bit with their blocking on the edges and downfield. Tough situation for them to go into knowing they aren't really going to play a big role.

Gotta say I’ve been pretty disappointed in BBdK’s posts today. Really thought the guy had grown up a bit. Oh well- some day, perhaps.

That’s fair, but can I still follow you on Instagram? Don’t know what I’d do if I missed video JimBob or Big Ron’s putts every week.

Btw- there was no clamoring on my end for you to show. Alex wanted to see Lauren but it was a much more pleasant experience for dogdad.

* Good luck, Scottie Barnes!

* Went to Lexington with the family for the weekend, and ran into... Clark. Of course. Live 4 miles away from him, and bump into him 420 miles from home.

*Always good to load the kids up on UK gear while visiting. It ain't cheap, but nobody ever said loyalty was free.

I was thinking more of, "gamboling at shitty So Indiana Casinos is a bigger part of my life than my good friends, sorry." But sure, lash out at us. Part of the cycle I guess.

Another 7:30 kickoff.

I can only remember 1-2 October home game day kickoffs since the SECN launched. No complaints here.
