2 year old woke whole house up at 3:30am screaming then of course went back to sleep. 3 mo old been up since 4am and quickly developing her sister’s habit of not sleeping.

I’m over here tryna book a 2-3 week trip to Italy in May for my honeymoon. Time to look domestically instead?

Ugh.

Really hope Iona can steal another one and win this thing tomorrow. Still admire Pitino’s ability, but also want to see him go back on his “I’m content with Iona as my final job” spill from last year.

Yea right! Win big and he is gone!

Watching Collins in his first start as a FR is awesome. Wheeler guiding him on the press, 2 three balls and left the floor for a pump fake from half court.

#excited

Does Collins read GYERO?

I mean we want more 3s, but I don’t think anyone was specifically thinking of HIM.

How many easy, open looks can we botch?

Also, Grady passing up an open 3 for a long two from Toppin. smh

Our offense is atrocious. This game reminds me of when I was coaching a 3rd/4th grade team with all of the scrambling going on

-We've cold down from midrange after being on fire in the last few games.

-Grady, Allen, and Washington should all track for 10 threes or more per 40 even if they are missing. Allen has missed like 10 3's in a row. Grady is ice cold. They should keep shooting due to the law of large numbers.

-We should never be running plays for Oscar post ups. It's difficult getting him the ball, and he is ineffective once receiving. His job is to get us extra possessions and finish around the rim.

-Opponents don't guard Toppin when he's on the floor. His man is free to help all over the court. He's got great energy and bounce though. Maybe he can be an option at the 5 when Oscar is of the court.

-Overall, this is a classic half for a Cal team, build a margin based on the battle for possessions. We have 5 more offensive boards and 5 less turnovers.

On the pregame the #1 goal Cal stated for the offense was to get Oscar the ball in the post. Not surprisingly, he basically thinks he is/wants him to be Hakeem Olajuwon.

(FYI that guy played like 25 years ago)
