🤣Brady was better at Clash of Clans than he is predicting coaching changes!
Very fair rebuttal. I to cheer for Allen, I even said he is a great kid. Bottom line is, KY boy or not, I want the best 5 on the court at ALL times. Allen just doesn't have enough intangibles to play substantial minutes, especially if he is struggling with his shot (which he obviously is). IF he is scorching the nets you can overlook the lack of assist, rebounds and defense, BUT if he is not dropping 3's, he just doesn't justify meaningful minutes. Because of that, he is not allowed the luxury of "playing thru" his bad spells, he just doesn't bring anything meaningful to the court to. Nothing personal against Allen, he is a one trick pony, anyone saying different is just a fan boy because he is a KY native. If he was from anywhere other than KY, NOBODY would be clamoring for him to play more, NOBODY. But you did use facts and honesty with your rebuttal, i can appreciate that.Since you continue to make this point I’m going to respond.
Oscar must play, Wheeler must play. That gives you 2 nonshooters…offensive space, especially in modern basketball, is really difficult to find if you have 3 or more people on the floor you don’t have to guard more than 12 feet from the basket.
Despite his limited sample size of poor shooting this year, Allen has gravity because opposing coaches know if he gets hot he can swing games. You can’t leave him.
It’s not so much a Brooks v Allen thing, its more of a frustration with Cal that his lineups don’t mix and match with a thought to offensive spacing. If Brooks is playing with TyTy running point, Grady and Mintz the wings and Oscar or whoever else then I’m good, no complaints.
Basketball, at least smart basketball, is more than just counting stats because all counting stats aren’t created equal…it’s finding lineups that make sense spacing and chemistry wise to give guys the best opportunity to succeed.
I think a lot of what we are seeing with Grady is that he gets face guarded and help defended off of our nonshooters. His life is hard right now.
Cal has never seemingly cared about this with his sub patterns, I’m not sure he ever will but when you don’t have guys like Wall, Davis, Randle or Fox who are so talented that spacing almost doesn’t matter (at least in college) it becomes more important.
Plus, Allen is a Kentucky boy who has a good attitude and got s raw deal last year so I naturally overlook some of his flaws.
I love catching up on GYERO during a fight to claim the moral high ground. If you don't follow SAE and/or Richie's holiday traditions you're a piece of shit.
Bozeman/Yellowstone area is flat unreal. Its just hard to comprehend how expensive the views are. Can't recommend enough. Soon as the kids are old enough I'm headed out with them. Tons to do.Also, I know this will make me sound like a neck from Jessamine county (which I am) but I had NO IDEA Montana looked like that. Just unbelievable landscapes. Makes me want to plan a trip out west. Wow
Yeap. Dude has the total package. Having said that, it was a nice pass, but it was NOT all that the dude on Twitter made it out to be. You can pretty much see that pretty regular. He is averaging 15 / 7 / 9 on 60% 2FG and 46% 3FG but hasn't really faced any competition in college, playing at Texas will be a nice little measuring stick, Also, he will need to cut down on the almost 4 TO's per game. Wonder if there is any relation to teammate Tre Armstrong, LOL.Anyone following this Taran Armstrong kid from California Baptist? Dude is nasty.
Based on the rookie success of Josh Giddey, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he appears on draft boards sooner than later.
6'5 freshman PG from Australia - smooth triple double last game, and is damn near averaging one. Worth a twitter search and scroll - he's a human highlight reel.
Do you really think anyone read all that shit? If so, you're even dumber than everyone already thinks.Yeap. Dude has the total package. Florida v/s Ohio State will give us a nice preview if Florida is for real, I know they beat FSU, but this will be a nice test.
LOL, "buying a real tree at a lot instead of going and cutting it yourself is the same as a fake tree" simply because you did not go all Griswald Family Christmas and trek miles out in the woods and cut it yourself, is just a dumb observation. The point of a real tree is NOT to show how big of a bad ass you are by fighting thru the elements to show you are MF'n Paul Bunyan, but for the smell of the real tree. No matter where you get it, a real tree is REAL and a artificial tree is well,,, ARTIFICIAL. "Eating farm to table food is not the same if you did not raise or grow the food yourself on YOUR farm."
The Little general has him a nice little team of mostly Freshmen / Soph. and have 5/6 guys who average DD's in scoring. I think they start 3 freshmen, sophomore, and a JR. have 3/4 other underclassmen who play a lot also. 8 guys play over 16 minutes per game. He SHOULD have a nice, solid tournament squad for a couple / three years in a row. Jimerson (freshman) is a nice, solid scorer and they have 5 guys shooting over 35% from Treyville. Jimerson over 40% and pouring in 16PPG. Yuri Collins is a sophomore PG 9 points over 8 assist per game. Okoro a 6-9 235lbs. JR. averages 9/9, Hargrove a sophomore averages over 11 and 6, Lassina Traore another freshman 6-9 F averages over 10PPG and over 6 RPG. Fun squad, 3 guards / 2 forwards starting, and average 90 per game. They did lose their only tough game (@Memphis) by 16.
They play Auburn at home Dec. 18th, should be a fun, up and down the court game.
Starters :
PG - Collins 6-0 Sophomore
2G - Jimerson 6-5 Freshman
SG - Nisbett 6-6 Freshman
SF - Hargrove 6-4 Sophomore
PF - Linssen 6-9 Junior
Super Subs :
PF - Traore 6-9 Freshman
PF - Okoro 6-9 Junior
Only 1 Senior 5-11 guard DeAndre Jones (4PPG). 6/8 players in the rotation are underclassmen.
-I was a bad mofo on Clash of Clans. It sharpened my leadership skills. Took those with me to small business ownership and trounced the competition.Neal Brown has lost his shine. Could be worse, but he would not be my first 5 calls.
I’m confident now with Franklin locked up that Stoops makes it through the carousel and is here next season.

Guilty, guilty, guilty....
I feel like both these high profile trials got it right.
My wife bought 15 gingerbread house kits last week.
I put off asking as long as I could, because, what are the odds that I was going to like the answer?
Instead of a fun afternoon tomorrow, dominating my in-laws at cribbage and Trivial Pursuit ( the tradition) she is going to "mix things up a little this year!"
Make the little building that was formerly Avis Car Sales on Broadway. Shouldn’t take long.I might just stack everything up, call it mid-century and go drink/watch TV

A gingerbread house building contest. Three categories: Most Original, Best Construction, and Best personality (I don't even understand what that means)

Well Mr Kaplan, if you read the evidence, Bryan didn’t hang around the McMichaels. His play should have been to stop hanging around racist, idiot, slack jaws.
