Neal Brown has lost his shine. Could be worse, but he would not be my first 5 calls.

I’m confident now with Franklin locked up that Stoops makes it through the carousel and is here next season.

Brady was better at Clash of Clans than he is predicting coaching changes!

The one guy on tiger droppings who has the audacity to say that Stoops would be a decent(not great) hire is getting dragged worse than UKO/Chief/etc does here in Gyero.

Their little brother syndrome with Bama might be worse than Louisville’s is with us.

Happy Drinksgiving!

“They’re hitting the ground like wet bags of cement”

Thanksgiving…. The day everyone is having Turkey with the family so I can sneak in the coal mine property and catch hogs. Going to be warm with rain so it’ll cover my tracks and no one will be expecting any sane person to be fishing. Not saying I’m sane since I’ll be breaking the law, again.

If Stoops were to leave, I think Coen would get a very strong look at HC.

I too was more worried about PSU and Stoops if that spot came open.

With the Troy job open, don't be surprised if they come after Summerall.

I think Kiffen would be perfect at UF. I've compared him multiple times to a modern Spurrier, and the gator fans would eat that personality up with his offense.

Near 5 star WR committing this evening and everyone says uk is the likely spot. I feel like that is a positive sign regarding Stoops intentions.

It will be interesting to see where Mullen ends up.

LSU won’t get past Arranda. Would be more - yet not much more- concerned about Florida. Not sure why they aren’t on the phone with his brother Bob, though.

And Stoops would have a good shot at either place. Good talent evalutor and developer. Will hustle in recruiting and be strong on the lines.

I’d take Coen as HC.

To think of what our offense has been over the Stoops’ era to now?

Pro style with a conga line of elite Cali 5-stars visiting? Yes please. Keep it coming.

Stoops rehired Eddie Gran. Some people forget that.

Good article from the Atlantic with anonymous coaches giving their opinions on CBB refs.

I hope this becomes a bit now.

If LSU or Florida don't hire Bill O'Brien, then they f'd it up. Had he stayed at Penn St, he would be a top 3-5 coach in the country right now. He had the Texans in the playoffs on multiple occasions. They only began to falter when he was general manager as well. Both schools would be good next year if they hired him. No rebuild required.

🤣

* If we were in the market for an offensive coordinator (and I'm glad we aren't), I would love to see if we could grab Mullen for a year before he gets another head coaching gig at a lower level school. He's a prick but he's a damn good football coach. Pretty surprised it didn't work out for him at Florida.

* I hope Stoops' win-loss record keeps elites away. That's the most misleading stat imaginable given what he inherited and this being his first head coaching stint.

* If I'm Stoops, it will take a golden ticket of a contract at a place like LSU or Florida to make me consider leaving UK. As has been said before, he arguably has the greatest gig going when it comes to low expectations, high resources, and high pay.

If he leaves UK to go to Florida or LSU and gets bought out in 3 yerars, has he done himself any financial favors versus staying at UK and racking up bonuses?

Since you continue to make this point I’m going to respond.

Oscar must play, Wheeler must play. That gives you 2 nonshooters…offensive space, especially in modern basketball, is really difficult to find if you have 3 or more people on the floor you don’t have to guard more than 12 feet from the basket.

Despite his limited sample size of poor shooting this year, Allen has gravity because opposing coaches know if he gets hot he can swing games. You can’t leave him.

It’s not so much a Brooks v Allen thing, its more of a frustration with Cal that his lineups don’t mix and match with a thought to offensive spacing. If Brooks is playing with TyTy running point, Grady and Mintz the wings and Oscar or whoever else then I’m good, no complaints.

Basketball, at least smart basketball, is more than just counting stats because all counting stats aren’t created equal…it’s finding lineups that make sense spacing and chemistry wise to give guys the best opportunity to succeed.

I think a lot of what we are seeing with Grady is that he gets face guarded and help defended off of our nonshooters. His life is hard right now.

Cal has never seemingly cared about this with his sub patterns, I’m not sure he ever will but when you don’t have guys like Wall, Davis, Randle or Fox who are so talented that spacing almost doesn’t matter (at least in college) it becomes more important.

Plus, Allen is a Kentucky boy who has a good attitude and got s raw deal last year so I naturally overlook some of his flaws.
Very fair rebuttal. I to cheer for Allen, I even said he is a great kid. Bottom line is, KY boy or not, I want the best 5 on the court at ALL times. Allen just doesn't have enough intangibles to play substantial minutes, especially if he is struggling with his shot (which he obviously is). IF he is scorching the nets you can overlook the lack of assist, rebounds and defense, BUT if he is not dropping 3's, he just doesn't justify meaningful minutes. Because of that, he is not allowed the luxury of "playing thru" his bad spells, he just doesn't bring anything meaningful to the court to. Nothing personal against Allen, he is a one trick pony, anyone saying different is just a fan boy because he is a KY native. If he was from anywhere other than KY, NOBODY would be clamoring for him to play more, NOBODY. But you did use facts and honesty with your rebuttal, i can appreciate that.

Dan Mullen is a great offensive coach, and 1 year removed from winning the SEC East. He has a FR quarterback that is crazy talented and he doesn’t trust him so Emery Was his QB choice. Emery can’t read a defense to save his life and the team has literally quit on Mullen.

That is not a blemish on him really as he is in year 4 following that idiot McElwain with 8-3 11-2 8-3 as his record previously while allowing Kyle Trask to grow into last year where they were damn good.

Emery/FR quarterback and now he is fired. UF is stupid AF, but with the players quitting their hand is also forced.

If you don't follow SAE and/or Richie's holiday traditions you're a piece of shit.
I love catching up on GYERO during a fight to claim the moral high ground.
Also, I know this will make me sound like a neck from Jessamine county (which I am) but I had NO IDEA Montana looked like that. Just unbelievable landscapes. Makes me want to plan a trip out west. Wow
Bozeman/Yellowstone area is flat unreal. Its just hard to comprehend how expensive the views are. Can't recommend enough. Soon as the kids are old enough I'm headed out with them. Tons to do.

<—- Thinks Stoops/Coen/Marriw would crush at LSU or Florida and is glad their fans think otherwise. I hope their ADs agree with them.

If you can consistently win 8-9 games at Kentucky, then the sky is the limit at an elite school. Said the same thing about James Franklin at Vandy. Anybody putting together back to back 9 win seasons at that shithole knows what they’re doing.

Anyone following this Taran Armstrong kid from California Baptist? Dude is nasty.

Based on the rookie success of Josh Giddey, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he appears on draft boards sooner than later.

6'5 freshman PG from Australia - smooth triple double last game, and is damn near averaging one. Worth a twitter search and scroll - he's a human highlight reel.

Yeap. Dude has the total package. Having said that, it was a nice pass, but it was NOT all that the dude on Twitter made it out to be. You can pretty much see that pretty regular. He is averaging 15 / 7 / 9 on 60% 2FG and 46% 3FG but hasn't really faced any competition in college, playing at Texas will be a nice little measuring stick, Also, he will need to cut down on the almost 4 TO's per game. Wonder if there is any relation to teammate Tre Armstrong, LOL.

Florida v/s Ohio State will give us a nice preview if Florida is for real, I know they beat FSU, but this will be a nice test.

LOL, "buying a real tree at a lot instead of going and cutting it yourself is the same as a fake tree" simply because you did not go all Griswald Family Christmas and trek miles out in the woods and cut it yourself, is just a dumb observation. The point of a real tree is NOT to show how big of a bad ass you are by fighting thru the elements to show you are MF'n Paul Bunyan, but for the smell of the real tree. No matter where you get it, a real tree is REAL and a artificial tree is well,,, ARTIFICIAL. "Eating farm to table food is not the same if you did not raise or grow the food yourself on YOUR farm."

The Little general has him a nice little team of mostly Freshmen / Soph. and have 5/6 guys who average DD's in scoring. I think they start 3 freshmen, sophomore, and a JR. have 3/4 other underclassmen who play a lot also. 8 guys play over 16 minutes per game. He SHOULD have a nice, solid tournament squad for a couple / three years in a row. Jimerson (freshman) is a crafty, solid scorer and they have 5 guys shooting over 35% from Treyville. Jimerson over 40% and pouring in 16PPG. Yuri Collins is a sophomore PG 9 points over 8 assist per game. Okoro a 6-9 235lbs. JR. averages 9/9, Hargrove a sophomore averages over 11 and 6, Lassina Traore another freshman 6-9 F averages over 10PPG and over 6 RPG. Fun squad, 3 guards / 2 forwards starting, and average 90 per game. They did lose their only tough game (@Memphis) by 16.
They play Auburn at home Dec. 18th, should be a fun, up and down the court game.
Starters :
PG - Collins 6-0 Sophomore
SG - Jimerson 6-5 Freshman
SG - Nisbett 6-6 Freshman
SF - Hargrove 6-4 Sophomore
PF - Linssen 6-9 Junior
Super Subs :
PF - Traore 6-9 Freshman
PF - Okoro 6-9 Junior
Only 1 Senior 5-11 guard DeAndre Jones (4PPG). 6/8 players in the rotation are underclassmen.

-I was a bad mofo on Clash of Clans. It sharpened my leadership skills. Took those with me to small business ownership and trounced the competition.

-Pass on N. Brown

-Nathan-Burns-44 Venmo payment info for Krazy

-My tree is REAL……. platinum and gold. Also has Palladium ornaments. Even paid some dudes to come put lights on my house.

- I still can’t get over the f’n UT game. Every f’n UT fan wants to come in the store and talk about it. Almost threw a game used Jerry Rice cleat at a guy today.

-In all seriousness, hope all of you have a Happy Thanksgiving. Except Butthole Cole!

Guilty, guilty, guilty....

I feel like both these high profile trials got it right.

I agree on the father/son getting the book thrown at them for sure, but I always feel a little torn on any dude who is sort of along for the ride in a situation where somebody gets killed and then gets charged and found guilty for murder. Not torn enough to raise a stink about it, but torn enough to question the philosophy behind it.

This case was interesting because - per my understanding - the third dude had a claim he didn't know the other fellas were carrying guns, and he was just told to come along and help them stop a thief. But it sounds like he may have hit the victim with his truck so there's that.

I think his play should have been alerting the authorities to what went down immediately and begging for mercy from the court. Welp, too late now fella.

My wife bought 15 gingerbread house kits last week.

I put off asking as long as I could, because, what are the odds that I was going to like the answer?

Instead of a fun afternoon tomorrow, dominating my in-laws at cribbage and Trivial Pursuit ( the tradition) she is going to "mix things up a little this year!"

A gingerbread house building contest. Three categories: Most Original, Best Construction, and Best personality (I don't even understand what that means)

I might just stack everything up, call it mid-century and go drink/watch TV

Cribbage is a fun game. Haven’t played it in years, but love it.

Mel Tucker just inked that 10-year $95 million deal. Holy shit lol.

Losing your virginity to a Bangkok prostitute then marrying her thinks that’s moving too fast. Wow just wow. Only Nick Saban makes more, and just barely.

His head coaching record:

5-7
2-5
9-2

Cranberry sauce, check
Cranberry fluff, check
Cranberry cheese balls, check
Shrimp cocktail, check
Deviled Eggs, check

Potatoes peeled, sweet potatoes peeled as well.

turkey’s in the brine, and hit the smoker at 4am.

1 spiced apple wine from Hubers, 1 old fashioned and lights out.

Enjoyed sports today and broke even on UConn/Boston Celtics bets.

Looking forward to hosting tomorrow.

Same here. The system worked... again. When we cut through all the BS, we have a solid foundation if good people step up.

I'm curious for some of the law/legal folks here... What's the deal with all the different counts of murder? Also, the third guy who filmed the incident, I'm somewhat surprised by him being guilty of murder charges. I figured they'd have to hold him accountable for *something* but it seems he was judged the same way the other two guys were.
