Well that sucked musings:

1. That was a shellacking from a team that we are better than. This team can either eat humble pie and get back to winning or let things spiral. We shall see.

2. Any talk of Beau Allen playing over Levis is asinine. Levis was terrible last night. He's also the same QB1 that scored 5 TDs against LSU and plays with a swagger we haven't had since Stephen Johnson.

Levis is our QB. He has enormous measurables but is not a natural QB at this time. He will either get there or he won't but any talk of another option is just idiotic. Thank sweet baby Jesus we aren't relying on Joey effing Gatewood.

3. Our coordinators completely shit the bed last night. What a disaster. Both guys are normally awesome but that was full scale fiasco. They both look like potential NFL hires so hopefully they get that sorted out ASAP.

4. What in the living hell was up with the defensive line? Are we that injured that we can't fill all our positions? I thought we had decent depth.

5. Maybe it is time to move Cummings back to WR. We have literally *nothing* there after Wandale and Ali. Riggs is a solid target at TE so maybe Cummings can give us at least something credible in the WR corps.

Kind of shocking that we have so little talent at the WR spot. Bizarro Mumme.

6. WTF happened to our running game? Good Lord.

Levis all year has had some questionable accuracy but he always puts steam on the ball, sometimes to the receiver’s detriment…last night he floated quite a few, it was strange to watch.

I’m afraid some of our weaknesses have been exposed and the smart coaches are catching on…limited playmakers, Levis has tunnel vision for Wandale, can’t get to the QB, average secondary play.

It’s been masked by some big time games from some of our best players like Pascal and Wandale but teams are taking them away…UT and UL will be wars. Got to get those two and validate the season.

Cohen needs to adjust to what Levis does best and let him run more. He’s a round peg in a square hole in this offense more often than not right now. It could be due to trying to protect his health (or being deathly afraid to have to turn to Allen in case of injury) by keeping him in the pocket but it’s not doing Levis any justice.

Who knows about the offense minus all the turnovers and almost turnovers. Hard to really know what to do when everyone thought “come out and run” when they had us 14-10, then we run and fumble. The only pass INT that wasn’t a deflection was an amazing play by the DB and damn near a punt as they had possession on the 5.

Last night was about the defense, or lack of defense. That was a joke!

(I am a bottomless well of knowledge, covering a spectacular array of subjects. It's pretty stunning actually)

New director this year after some … antics … by the former director of athletic bands. They tried an “Ohio State” type show with music from The Avengers. Not a bad first effort on that type of show. It did get a better than usual reaction from the crowd.
