Back in college, SAE's brother was fond of breaking a beer bottle and threatening people with it. I thought it was rather aggressive, but he never ended up fighting anyone so perhaps that's the best move. It's not like anyone called him a pussy afterwards either.

-- Crazy offseason all around. The Calipari world is much different than it used to be and I think the next generation of the program will be as well. I am a Cal believer more than most, but I think it is clear that the way this program was for a long time is not going to be how it is going forward. I expect Calipari to try to still recruit the superstars but I think the transfer world will be his other focus. He isn't reaching for guys anymore outside the very top dudes....for better or worse this will be a team of Freshmen and Seniors for the near future

-- KSBar has had its best couple of weeks since Covid and the world feels like its back on its axis. People are getting out so much more and they are actually drinking and hanging when they do. It is amazing how much better it feels.
-- Have any of you guys ever been in the "Green Room" at Keeneland? I was there on Wednesday with Jonathan Kitchen and it was awesome. Gorgeous inside with plush couches and great televisions. I didn't even know it existed and it is the "high roller" room where the dudes betting thousands hang out. I didn't keep up that level of play but it was fascinating to watch them work. In one race they all had a tip for a horse that on paper looked like absolute shit. They all bet it...the odds went down before post...and the horse won going away. Had I been using the sheets and my knowledge, there would have been no way to see it. But the "barn chatter" drove that room and it was the easiest win of the day. Those dudes are on a different plain.

Speaking on the female scrap, it sounds to me like some one did not want all the smoke. That is the most dangerous situation to be in, keep walking with your back turned to a crazy. The term "keep your head on a swivel" definitely applies when you are trying to avoid a confrontation and walk away without keeping an eye on what is behind you. The one ole girl looking for a fight, luckily did night run up on the other from behind and steal on her. Even if you are not a fighter, and maybe even a little scared, sometimes it is best to throw them hands and let somebody know you will not be intimidated.
