UL will never play that well for the rest of the year.

We gots lots to work on, but getting nothing from the 4 spot isn't fixable unless Wenyen gets on his horse. Huge hole.

8-2. We have to lose to them at some point, folks.

Stop your season is over bullish, we have so much to grow. This is a Final Four team. Ul needed everything at home to win this. Hope we can knock em out of the tournament again.

As much as y'all pretend you're the smartest basketballs in the world, you sure are shortsighted. Has there been one Cal team you havent given up on at some point?

2 seed chill. We didn't get beat we lost the game as it will be going foward.

To bookers point we shoot that % we going down

If Bam starts knocking down FT's. We shouldn't lose. That guy is unselfish in the paint too. He will get Mobe far better looks too. We have the pieces to win the whole thing.

Already ginning up Selection Day redass when the Committee justifies dropping us to a couple seeds because Sparty turned out to be a GD dud, and the SEC sucks donkey swingers.

Really felt like all week we were due to lose this game. I don't think we've been upset in this series in over a decade. Snider kid did what so many random SEC guys have done for fifty years- have the game of their life against Kentucky. Shit happens. Sucks it was Louisville, but they don't exactly suck. They're probably right at the top of the second tier of teams this season.

Briscoe hasn't exactly 'shown out' against the best teams on our schedule. Concerning that our alleged leader seems to shrink in the big moment this season.

FT shooting is also concerning. I really don't understand the steady downward trajectory of our FT percentage. It looked like it was going to be an actual strength for the first 4-5 games.

Fox played right into their game plan for huge stretches. Him hitting that early 3 was probably overall a net negative. He is smarter than that. He still had decent stats, but it may have been his worst game as a Cat. Credit to their defense.

Bilas over-talked the shit out of this game. Kept harping on Monk's shot selection. Well Jay, if you'd watched our other games, they're the same damned shots he's been taking- and largely making all season. They aren't great shots, but for better or worse that is who he is. He had at least two 3s in the second half halfway down and rim out. Either of those goes and he's maybe the hero.

The possession that killed us was the one with the two Louisville offensive rebounds that led to a dunk when they were struggling to score. That should have never happened. For everything else in the game, if we come up with that rebound and head downhill the other way, we likely pull this shitty game out.

Team will go with Gabriel. If the light comes on for that kid, we'll be right there at the end. If not, we'll need a ton of breaks and probably won't have enough to beat another elite team on a neutral court. Willis shouldn't start another game. He should play spot minutes. Gabriel needs baptism by fire if we wanna end the season in Arizona.

On the other hand, may be time to give up on Willis. He doesn't have it and never has. Such a disappointing player. And unlike the fresman, he's had 4 GD years. And Briscoe will never have a shot. Have to figure out a different way to play.

Your bitchass has called a loss the last 3x we played them. You're not a visionary. You're a bitch- as I have said here time and time again.

Complete lie. I never think we'll lose to them. Tonight was a bad set-up. Period. If you were smarter, you'd know that.

Being a pollyanna "everything is puppies & rainbows" f@ggot doesn't make you a good fan. It makes you a 12 year old girl.

The problems we showed tonight- bad defense, bad free throws, aren't the kind you easily fix. That's an area of concern.

However, EVERY team has areas of concern. There are a lot of areas that we can improve on- shot selection, offensive identity, etc. throughout the season.

The Kansas game is big for March though. Hard to overstate that.

We ain't winning shit if our perimeter defense doesn't drastically improve. When you let Quinton effing Snyder work you, you have some issues.

Yup - a little concerning for SEC play too. These teams are trash mostly, but we all know how they play out their asses when we roll in. They usually have athletic guards, and if we can't guard them... could rack up some L's on the road.

While Bam was awful at the line, we shot 66%. Shoot a typical 70% and we get 1 more point. The problem was our shooting - anywhere near our average, and we are fine. Monk missed a bunch of looks. Willis had MULTIPLE chances to hit big 3's, and failed. In the last 5 minutes or so, we were up 2 and he had a wide open 3 at the top that would have made it 5. I hate Willis. One of my least favorite players ever. Plus, UofL kind of played out of their ass...at least Snider did.

End of the day, lost on the road to a top ten team and had a shot to send to OT. We'll be fine.

You can make an argument- and I'll fight you if you do because it's Louisville- that losing this game may be a long term positive for this bunch. They played like shit. They can't play like that on the road and beat a top ten team.

We've had some young teams play with maturity pretty early on the last few years...man these guys *play* young. Way too many WTF moments, turnovers, fouls, defensive mistakes.

They may have the most room to grow if they figure things out.

It took our worst FT effort, an off night shooting from deep, a stubbornness to not feed Bam, Willis missing a wide open 3 late and a FT, Fox having his worst assist/TO ratio so far, our first game with foul trouble, our first game on the road, and Quentin Snider having the best game of his life against us for us to lose.

No sweat. Hopefully the NCAA goes ahead and somehow leads these bitches to us in the tourney as they no doubt would do and have done to us.
