If I'm picking players based on talent alone. I'm taking Rory all/every over Jordan and probably a handful of other guys. No one got pissed when I said I don't trust Rory's mentality but everyone flipped when I said Jordan wasn't jaw dropping talented. That's kind of weird. Considering for not having it mentally Rory has won 4 Majors at 26 and is dominating golf in recent years. Amazing that 2 players can be really good at the same time. :rolleyes:

Fields said he had a complete game and said his mental toughness is the strongest part. My sentiments exactly.

I like Cawoods count. Might bump Rory down to 10 though. 1 more for the 2 old guys. Tiger has at least 40 more attempts and probably more. He'll get one.


I love casual golf fan. Tiger should retire after this weekend and Spieth is the greatest golfer ever!!! Give me a break.:joy:

Sounds like Anthony is throwing himself into being a golf ball consideration. Clearly doesn't consider himself a casual golf fan.

youre completely pulling nonsense out of your b-hole. rory's mental state IS fair game, and IS constantly questioned. wonder why??

us open = win (lowest score ever)
british = 25th
pga = 64th

2012:
masters = 40th
us open = cut
british = 60th
pga = win (by largest margin ever)

Speaking of Golf Balls, Team Anth & Team BBdK have both purchased teams for the KSR scramble.

Team BBdK will win the entire event, TS, so place your bets now. Just waiting for Killa or Fields to quit being "I don't know, let me check, I'm soooooo busy" guy. They both have "to check my schedule, and get back in a few weeks" [eyeroll]

Both are attorneys too, imagine that.
 
So Rory has 4 at age 26, he's #1 player in the world, has all world talent, seems like a good dude and yet we can poke holes in his game. However, I can't talk about Jordan's. Ok. Spieth looks amazing right now but you can just never tell with these guys. Granted 2 majors at 21 is badass.

Geese, you dolt. That's my point. Even at dominance Faldo(one of the top 15 golfers of all time) went 10 years before winning a major and won 5 of 20 in his best run. Dominating in golf = winning 1 out 4. So that means you lose 75% of the time. Meaning other people win.

I always get a nostalgic chuckle when Anth shares one of his many horrible takes. The first time I posted in gyero he tried to run me.
If it had been ANYBODY else, I might have listened. But I knew the only reason Anth was even allowed in gyero was because he married sloot.
That's cute and all, but enough is enough, he was born into a job, but he shouldn't be allowed to marry into gyero. GTFO----------->. Your time is up here bub.

Barry Sanders was a really talented RB, but he did not have the strength and power of Earl Campbell. No way Barry could as dominate or outlast the big, bad powerful Campbell. Oh wait, big and powerful also means a great chance of injuries from abusing or putting a lot of pressure on your body. And ended up more than Earl Campbell.

So Rory has 4 majors at 26, Jordan has 2 at 21. Not a snowballs chance in hell he can win 2 more and be on Rory's level in 5 years. JS has the type of golf swing, game that will help him stay around for a long while, I say he gets Rory's number and better before 26.




*not a certified golfball, but I do play more than once a year.

* and I know nothing, nor do I care to know anything about Tour De France bicycle race, other than it is in France, and is a long ride over multiple days and the greatest was a powerful, cheater. I rank it with Badminton and table tennis in the sports order of interest.
 
Anth just needs to get on his bicycle, pump himself out of the state and try again next week.
 
Good idea by Tskware in the Open thread: replace the Fox golf crew with a Paddock crew.

Anth would clearly want to be Norman but he is more Curt Menifee.

Rob, I actually kind of agree with you. Although, GYERO hasn't been this lively in months and no one has or will ever run me from this thread.

WS and I found him tucked away in a sports memorabilia shop at Ceasars(LV) signing autographs. While he signed a couple photos for our dads he was simultaneously hitting on WS and watching horse racing at his little table. He's a complete degenerate loser.
