Glad Reed is out. Just one mans opinion. Hopefully if Brooksie cannot go NA will replace him.
 
LOL, when was his last major? Let me answer it for you, 2017. How many tournaments did he contend in this year on Thursday / Friday but have a shit the bed weekend and fall ? I will answer that for you also.

Tour Championship - 74 final round finished 20th
Northern trust - 72 / 79 falling to 73rd
The Memorial - 71 /73 finishing 18th
Charles Schwab - 73 final round finished 2nd
PGA Championship - 74 in the final round, finished 30th
The Players Championship - 75 final round finished 48th
Arnold Palmer - 75 final round finished 4th
The Masters 72 / 70 finished 3rd (any kind of weekend round, he could have won)
The Genesis - 73 / 71 finished 15th -6 after two rounds was only trailing Sam Burns and had the worst weekend scores of anyone around and above him finishing. +2 over the weekend will not win any tournaments.

But what I use is actual results in Ryder / Presidents Cup, you know, the actual contest and format he will be playing. 0-6 in his SINGLES matches where he is the ONLY person responsible for winning and losing. And he did not get beat by Elite guys, average run of the mill guys. Reed 4-1-1 in HIS singles matches and beat Rory and several other top guys, only loss was to Oosthuizen.

2021 results was equal both won 1 tournament and both had 14 top 25 finishes. BUT key stats favor Reed

Birdies per round : Spieth 68th / Reed 11th
Putts per round : Spieth 15th / Reed 2nd

Kevin Na over Patrick Reed ? LOL, somebody is solely using image and not talent. NA is pretty solid, but over Reed ? Not a chance in hell.

Take personality and public perception, and popularity out of it and base the decision on RESULTS in Ryder and Presidents Cup. THAT is all that matters. And I said maybe not leave Spieth off, but Reed deserved a spot over SOMEBODY, IF HE IS HEALTHY enough to play. Once again, I used FACTS to debate the situation, not who I like better, but who would benefit the US winning. Captain America or the fan favorite Pretty Boy Choker ? Lets just see how Spieth does and then we can come back and discuss this more. I have a feeling it will be crickets from the Spieth crowd.
 
We are having our 20th year at Fairfield this week. Hoping for good weather. Playing Dorchester, Bear Trace, Lake Tansi and Stonehenge. Thu/Fri - AM singles and PM scramble. Wed and Sat are flighted - for the most part (singles).

28 strong including BBdK. Should be a blast as always.

Damn, solid trip. Will there be any adult beverages before, during, and after the rounds ? If not, you are doing it all wrong. J/K, probably will be some pretty sizable coin wagered in those matches, need to be focused and on your game. BUT,,, a few to calm the pregame jitters never hurt anybody. :cool:😜⛳💯.

Will be pulling for you guys to have a great trip, and hope for plenty of ☀️ and no ⛈️ along with plenty of 🎯 leading to 🐤 & 🦅, no ⛄ and lots of 💩 💬, Also, lots of 🧀🥦🍞🥬 🤑 exchanged. Then cap it off with a lot of 🎼🥁🎸🎷, 🥩🍗🌮🍕, and 🍺🍻🥂🍷🍹🥡

Agreed. All these folks bringing up his record. It’s like arguing a guy scoring 30 ppg on a 5-27 basketball team is best player in the league.
 
I hate the stupid wrap around season. It’s basically glorified Q-school where journeyman can get a win for an exemption or rack up points to help keep them in the top 125-150 the next season.

Take a break over the winter. Bring back the silly season. I miss the Skins games and the other silly season events.

Plenty of sun, no rain, and a lot of darts fired (bullseye, close to the hole) leading to birdies and eagles, but no snowmen (8 on scorecard in golf) and lots of shit talking. Also, lots of money exchanged, and then cap it off with a lot of good music, food, and drinks. (A party).

It was a light hearted, joking post wishing the ones going on the trip to have a great trip and have fun. We get it, you are too serious and a competitor to lower yourself to such well wishes. But hell, I can't read into your personality to know you would dislike or question it, it is about as secret as your golf game you talk so much about. Nice kid by the way, I just hope she is yours, if not,,,,, ehhh, might want to have a seat over there. Creep.
 
Played both Whistling Straights and Blackwolf Run and IMO there is no way Blackwolf is anywhere near top 20 status. WS, oh yeah, I can see top 5. Phenomenal course!

Playing 56 Saturday and potentially 9 on Sunday on that list.

Met Nazr last time I played Dubsdread a couple years ago. Not a bad swing for a 6’10” dude

84. The Virtues is my defacto home course. It’s great.

Playing at 730 tomorrow and on Sunday as well.

BTW, we are losing the Ryder Cup… team turmoil captained by Stricker with Tiger Woods chiming in from his couch.

This will be a disaster.
 
I would sit Bryson and Brooks all week and then send them out 11 and 12 on Singles day and pray it doesn’t matter.
 
Dubsdread whooped my ass again.

Did hole out from one absurd greenside bunker for birdie but just had a rough go on those approach shots carrying the distance needed to clear the bunkers. But was a great time.

Didn't get up to Erin Hills this time, hopefully next summer. Some buddies and I are looking at a Erin Hills/Whistling Straits/Sand Valley/Mammoth Dunes trip

I thought it was one of the hardest courses I have ever played couple months ago. If you missed your spot by a foot you landed in a bunker, or in a creek, or behind a friggin tree. Wore my ass out.
 
With the condition my game is in I would need a lot more time than that. I used to at least be a decent golfer. Not so much anymore.
