Fox on Diallo: Practice was harder than the games...

I hope more comes out about how Hamidou performed in the practices between January and March. But Fox credited him with being the toughest defender he faced. High praise, indeed.

Also, Fox says his ball handling was "a lot better than I expected" as was his shooting.

Sounds like UK benefited having Hami for practice.
“When he was defending us — like when people ask me what was harder, the practices or games, practices for me were a lot tougher than games,” star point guard De’Aaron Fox said Friday at the NBA combine. “He’s a great defender.”

No, the basketball super geniuses said having tougher competition in practice was no benefit. I mean I believe some idiot on a fan board over the kid that actually had to face Diallo.

That's great news! I hope he keeps working on his shooting because I think I read on here that one of the big questions from the NBA scouts (while he was testing the waters) was his shooting. If he answers that question this season it benefits both parties.
