One of these days I will have time to come back full time........The Director is trying to get all the mileage she can out of the old mule........She wanted the pool gone, the deck reconfigured with additional ground level pavers.......and a nice Koi pond where the 18' x 33' pool was..........the deck was ate up from the chlorine.....I want a lifetime deck......I used 5/4" wood the first go around with 2 x 12 joist on 16" centers.........now she want Trek decking and it has to be on 12" centers......so basically rebuilding the whole deck......there is a post in the middle of roof over one 10' x 20' section......she wants the center post removed.........She also added that when I got her Koi pond finished I would have room to build an additional 14' on my pigeon loft........if I can live that long.....Not the picks I cherish Sir! (But thanks!)
Self-Proclaimed. I think it was the hiring of "The Pope" in basketball that gave me the delusion of sainthood. Since he is a Pope, it only stands to reason if I support him, it makes me a saint. I could be wrong but...Hey WC, just read where you are a saint over in the PT thread, congratulations!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ragged but well coached. Threes not falling so he (The Pope) adjusted and worked the paint. It is refreshing to see adjustments being made in real time instead of the "tweak" to come following disappointing losses.Good morning folks.
Good win for Cats. A tough game to watch and not an efficient performance. The kind of game we’ve seen talented freshmen allow to slip away in recent years. But last night the Cats didn’t panic and stayed focused.
My favorite part of the game was Coach Pope’s postgame interview. I came away from that assured good results would come from a ragged performance.
Long work day ahead, then T-Day! I hope you all are settling into a terrific holiday.
I don't think people really appreciated just how funny Redd Foxx was. That guy was one of the greats.
Don't they call that transfer by association.......Self-Proclaimed. I think it was the hiring of the "Pope" in basketball that gave me the delusion of sainthood. Since he is a Pope, it only stands to reason if I support him, it makes me a saint. I could be wrong but...

Some might, but I call it BS by proclamation (FALSE).Don't they call that transfer by association.......
Close.WRONG (Pulled out my best imitation of wc. Mimicking is a form of flattery right?)
Talk about running for your life. A buddy of mine and I used to hit the pavions down on the waterfront in Izmir Turkey. A pavion was a night club where girls hustled guys (a lot of the guys were lonely gi's) for drinks. We were walking back to the bus stop. If we missed the bus, it was two hours till the next one. We are walking along and I noticed my buddy wasn't there. I looked around and he is a half block behind and urinating on a car window. Next thing I know, there are twenty or more highly irritated Turks chasing us. I was in great shape, so I easily stayed way ahead of the group. My buddy was strong as horse, but not a runner. I got to the bus stop just as the driver was pulling away and got him to stop and wait on my buddy. I can still picture him rushing to the back of the bus and giving the crowd a one finger salute as they faded into the background. When I sat down and opened up my computer it popped up a picture of me from back in the day (it does that sometimes).
This picture is around October 1976 Ft. Sill OK 321st FA OSUT (One Station Unit Training) same unit for both Basic and AIT. Those were the guys I used to hang out with. The guy just above me (Aponte) was the only person to ever beat me in the 2-mile run during the PT test my whole career in the Army. Happened only once. I never let it happen again.
