I used to love listening to Mike Shannon. Mike was associated with the Cardinals either as a player or announcer for 64 years. He is the only person in Missouri high school ball history to win state player of the year in both basketball and football in the same year, yet he played MLB. He was especially entertaining after he had a few beers. He knew everybody so he had loads of stories. He was full of Yogi Berra type stories.

Self-Proclaimed. I think it was the hiring of the "Pope" in basketball that gave me the delusion of sainthood. Since he is a Pope, it only stands to reason if I support him, it makes me a saint. I could be wrong but...
