Back from being out and about after church, I have some frozen biscuits in the oven.
I doubt I will make too many more of the frozen dough variety. They are just not as good as freshly made biscuits. I don't ask for much but a good home-made biscuit can't be beat...
I can make a pan of biscuits ready for the oven in about ten minutes too.
It seems tomorrow our local buffet will have crab legs. I plan to take My Darling as she rarely gets to eat those in the all you can eat variety. My Darling weighs about 125 but I could swear she eats ten pounds of crab legs at a sitting....
Used to get her King Crab legs about once a month but darn those things sky-rocketed and are now hard to find.

Your biscuits are what inspired me to get up and learn how to make them........when I did I was angry for not trying 40 yrs ago.......I turned and showed my two grand daughter and three grand sons how to make them.........I have cooked since I was a boy........it never hurt me a bit.......
Good evening, D, we called off church this morning, there is so few of us and over half of our members are sick including us, tested negative for the rona though! I hope the D has a happy and successful new year!!!! I told Mrs. M, if I was on spacebook I would put on there, if you're going to wish me a happy new year you better be wishing it before 9:00, because after 9, I'm not going to be happy if you call me!!!! Lol

I have been meaning to mention this, my son has been doing a lot of different things just to keep his mind busy, one of them is making fire starters. He takes the lint from the dryer, putting it in the cardboard egg cartons, pressing it in there tight, then pouring hot candle wax on top of the lint. Then after it cools down just closes the top, when he wants one he just cuts one section out, lights it and places it in what ever he wants to set fire. Just poured wax in my last sections of the egg carton, we see. He says it works.

I do hope all of you are well or getting well. Been piddling around the house today doing things I have needed to do for a long time.... Still so much to do but I have done so much too. I am thankful...

Good morning and Happy New Year from ATX. Currently 52°F, cloudy and windy. We may touch 40s before sun rises. We're not expecting temps above 58°F today.
- Intense fireworks between 9 pm last eve and 2 am this morning. Pup not happy. Frequent police sirens. What a night.
- Finally watched No Time to Die early yesterday evening. Somewhat disappointing. Over past month, wife and I watched all 25 James Bond films.
- Cooking today. Banana pudding prepared. Black-eyed peas ready to go. Ham ready to go. Start cooking cabbage, rice and dressing around 10:30 am.
- National semi-finals. Kinda hope Harbaugh can win against Tide. Wife and I also pulling for Horns.
Wishing all a happy and prosperous new year.

Wife and I are cooking for some of her family for New Years. We travel to other family for Thanksgiving and Christmas so we usually have a dinner here for the new year. All adults (I think) this time.
I'm starting a new devotional sometime this morning. I didn't miss a day with last years, but this one's a little different. I'll probably do a little workout this evening and maybe watch some football. I really hope I get my interest in sports back, but for now it's just UK's stuff.
I hope everyone enjoys their day.

It's been a good day. I used to be able to take My Darling out for meals like this regularly. For a good while now I have not been able to (No places close that we like or too costly.) give My Darling one of her favorite meals...

Watched both semi-final games last night. Horns tried coming back. Never hear the end of it from wife and Horns fans. Wolverines vs Huskies for the title. Well-deserved.
Ordering venison and venison sausage later today for overnight delivery. Packed in ice. We should remain 40s-50s over next few days. Must also make travel reservations today or tomorrow.

Good morning D-League. Back to work. At least I'm working from home the rest of this week.
Disappointed in the Alabama performance, and didn't stay up for Texas. It's easy to say now, but Georgia was far and away the best team in the country but didn't get to defend their titles because of a fluke loss to Alabama. I wish looking back that game had gone the other way.
