Just looking at the remaining 9 games left, I'm struggling to find a game that the Cats won't be the underdog. Brutal schedule as always.Happy Sunday to you D-Leaguers. It is cloudy and 66.7°F on our way to 77° with a 60% chance of rain. My grass needs the rain bad.
ESPN must have set a worlds record in the number of commercials you can cram into a college football team during the UK Akron game. It was bad. They kept advertising the Noon game over and over.
I am glad the Cats won, but they did not look SEC good in my book.
Maybe they can find the jet they lost for a birthday present.dob 18.09.47

Waino got 200 tonight. His best game of the year. seven shut out innings against the Brewers. The last few starts, they have been playing a better defensive team and they helped him tonight. Btw, Molina flew in for the game and his replacement Contreras homered for the only run of the game.Good morning folks.
Staying dark later these days. We’re supposed to have a clear, cool day eventually.
Reds got a big win. And just as importantly these days virtually all the other Wild Card contenders lost. So, hope lives another day.
And, talking about baseball drama - this one’s for Bernie. After TEN failed attempts Adam Wainwright got win 199 last night! He’ll have maybe three shots at the elusive 200…
Heading for work. Hope you all have a good day.
He could have easily won quite a few more except for injuries. He missed all or most of 4 seasons, one with an injury while swinging a bat. Two seconds and two thirds in Cy Young voting.Good morning folk. Cool and clear in the east. I love this weather. Along with the 20 pounds I lost (goal of 33 so hold the applause) it makes you feel energized.
Bernie, I saw that about Wainwright. Congrats to him and Cardinal fans. I saw that before him only Gibson and a guy from the 20s and 30s ever had 200 wins for the Cardinals, which mildly surprised me. But then I looked it up, and no Red has 200 wins wearing Cincy uniforms. Guys like Eppa Rixey and Paul Derringer were well over 200 wins, MOST with Cincinnati, but then finished their careers elsewhere. Jim Maloney was dominant for a few years then blew out his arm. Odd.
As for the Reds, last night’s win has them once again in a playoff spot “if the season ended today” but I’d rate them still a long shot. Probably have to win something like eight of the last 11. But it is fun for now.
Hope it is a good day for all.
Another Waino tidbit I just read. Win #100 was 1-0 against the Reds, 7 innings, 3 hits allowed. Molina homered for the only run. Win #200 was 1-0, 7 innings and four hits. Molina replacement Contreras homers for only run. Odd facts dept.Good morning folk. Cool and clear in the east. I love this weather.
