Good morning everyone.
I'm back from an early morning litter pickup up our little road. I usually do this early Sat. mornings before the traffic picks up. Saw 2 trucks in about 45 minutes.
Chestnut trees during bloom are the nastiest smelling thing around. My FIL use to laugh at me when I complained. My wife still won't let me cut them down 26 years after he passed away. Good memory but it still sucks one week of the year.
Game Day! This one will tell us a few things.
I hope the team and everyone here has a great day.
Good morning D-League.
Back from a very, very soggy five-mile walk in a steady rain. Gotta stay committed: I'm a little more than two-thirds of the way to my goal of losing 35 pounds. But that last third will be the hardest, for sure.
I'm calling time of death on the Reds: 9/22. A sorry effort last night when they absolutely had to have a game against an ordinary opponent. I've never been a fan of David Bell and all his weird quirks and silly over-managing have hurt the team this past week. But the truth is, they just aren't ready to be elite. Not enough pitching and too many young players who haven't reached that level of professionalism yet.
Should be a great day of football. I never root for Ohio State, but will be ALL IN for them against Notre Dame. Some other decent games as well.
Hope it is a good one for everybody.
That's easy.Sunny and 72°F on our way to 84°.
Today is going to be a big clean up the house day. If anyone comes to help it will be free beer or wine or whisky!
Bingo!I need some too Sir. I am fresh out of sustenance.... I'd be there if it were at all possible!

That 1st Quarter was Very Blue!
It is as if they get complacent after getting a lead.Started watching late so I apparently missed some good Kentucky play…
But since I turned this on at 24-0 Kentucky has looked like they couldn’t beat Highland Heights High School. Good thing they are playing a weak Vandy team, but I fear for the rest of the season —and today isn’t in the bag.
I’m sure that is part of it. But honestly, Leary doesn’t look like an SEC quality QB to me —and didn’t most of the time against the cupcakes. And his receivers aren’t helping,It is as if they get complacent after getting a lead.
