D-League

Good morning from ATX. Currently 81°F and clear. Today's high may top out around 106°. Slight rain chance late this afternoon. We hit 107°F yesterday. Triple-digit temps may end after today or tomorrow. Cold front inbound. Thank the good lord.

Game Day! Colonels vs Cats at 3 pm EST. Go Cats!

I purchased one year of ESPN+ Watch this upcoming game, 2 BB games and soccer + volleyball for $99. Afterwards, Disney can kiss my ass. Looking at Sling TV going forward or possibly YouTube TV.

Leaving at 7:30 am this morning. Must accompany wife to CT scan. Perhaps Chick-fil-A later or maybe Zaxby's. Tried the CFA Honey Pepper Pimento sandwich Thursday. Awesome.

Wishing y'all a winning Saturday.

Did any of you know that Bruce Lee was considered for the lead role in Kung Fu? The producers considered him but went with David Carradine because back in those days they did not think America was ready for an Asian lead in a series. Carradine had to learn martial arts for the series and continued it throughout the rest of his life.

One other little tidbit, Bruce (I calls him that) had to slow his moves down for the cameras of the time because they could not keep up with him.

IT'S GAME DAY!

Hottest day on record yesterday for this year 109°. Cooling down starts today with a high in the mid to upper 90's and cooling further down in the next few days. Looking at a couple of days in the mid 70's for next week. Hopefully that happens as it normally goes a little higher as we get closer to the days predictions.

Hungry this morning for some reason but must wait until I get my task for the day done before I can eat (walk monster, workout, clean house). Usually when this happens, I don't think about it when I start my task so...

Reds...aarrgh.

You guys enjoy the day and God Bless.

Good morning all,

Heading to our church men's group breakfast in about 20 minutes. (I thought about offering to make biscuits at our next one... we shall see...

Then the BB has a soccer game at ten. Our church is only about two minutes from our house if I catch the traffic light.

Have a great day. Go CATS!!!

Austin if you get YouTubeTV you will still have to pay separately for ESPN+ and SEC+.

They have us by the short hair and they know it.

Good Gameday folks. It is 74°F and partly cloudy on our way to 80°.

On the use of ESPN+ and SEC+ one of the fellows on House of Blue gave me the best and most concise run down on them that I have seen. I am reproducing it below and marking him. If he tells me to I will delete, but it is the best rundown on the subject that I have seen.

@Comebakatz3
You get SEC+. That is streaming for almost all SEC games, even many of the minor sports like baseball. You just have to have a subscription to a tv provider (aka YoutubeTV) to get this. It's also through the ESPN app. When you click on the game it might ask you to log in with your tv provider through your phone.

ESPN+ is a different subscription that you'd have to pay for separately. It's additional content and some games may be behind that paywall. You'll notice these have an ESPN+ logo in the top left. A lot of the smaller conferences have their games aired through ESPN+.

Sometimes games are shown on both. So if the first time it doesn't work for free, make sure you're not clicking on the ESPN+ one. The app can sometimes be a total pain in the ass to navigate. I know at times I've searched for Kentucky and our game won't come up, but it will if I search for the name of the other team.
