Good morning from ATX. Currently 77°F and clear. More triple-digit highs await until at least September 15. I'll be happy when this heatwave ends.

We plan on seeking credit from Spectrum for the service outages. Complete BS. We're also contacting Google by end of next week for new service.

Happy for the Cats!

Daughter tripping out regarding this 103°F heat. Heh, they experienced lows in the 50s last week back home in the mountains.

Wishing all an enjoyable Sunday.

Good morning folks. Cats got it going after a sluggish first quarter. Didn’t see much from the new QB, but I missed part of the game.

Out for a walk. My near starvation rations and steady walking is having an effect. I hit a psychological goal this morning —229 lbs, down from 250. 215 remains the goal.

Glad to have a free Monday ahead. Hope you all are enjoying the weekend.

Leary looked rusty as his timing and accuracy were off. Hopefully rusty is all it was. He had more time most of the game to throw so, that is an improvement from last year. Defense looked sluggish in spots last night as if they knew who they were playing and decided to put less effort into it. Stoops hit on that with his post-game interview. Basically, called it a lack of discipline.

Good morning D-Leaguers. It is sunny and 80°F here at the moment on our way to a hot 89°. I got a surprise visit from my son and his girl friend yesterday. After the game we ate Mexican.

I enjoy the last three quarters of yesterdays game after the defense stopped making all their mental mistakes, plus I thought the officiating crew were a little quick with the whistle on UK and a little slower on a whistle on Ball State.

The SEC really looked good yesterday except for South Carolina. I was wanting South Carlina to beat North Carolina.

Enjoy your Sunday and relax because tomorrow is Labor Day.

Good morning and Happy Labor Day from ATX. Currently 79°F and clear. Today's high coming in around 101°F. Hopefully not too many more days of this perpetual heat wave.

Daughter heads back today. We'll leave here around 11:30 am. Her flight departs at 3:04 pm. We had a good visit. She helped set up new 50" Samsung TV purchased 9 months ago. You read that correctly. Hopefully we can convince her to move down here.

Seminoles def LSU Tigers last night in Orlando. LSU led at the half.

Wishing all an awesome day.

Good morning D-League.

Glad to have a Monday off. Heading up into the Blue Ridge mountains with my son to hike in a few minutes.

Ended up watching quite a bit of football over the weekend, including the FSU -LSU game last night.

I hope my eyes were deceiving me, because a lot of teams just seemed a lot faster, with bigger and better O and D lines and much better quarterbacks than Kentucky. I have to keep reminding myself I never played football at any serious level so I may not be a good judge.

Hope you folks have a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Wife and I celebrated our 35th anniversary yesterday. Went to church, went to Walmart, ate out (on the patio :)), sat by the fire last night. Enjoyable, peaceful, blessed day.

Not much on tap today...wife will have company so I will visit one of my old buddies not doing so well...he just turned 80.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Congratulations Storm. Getting the right wife is a blessing.

Hope all's day is going well,

Been to our association Labor Day meet and greet,

Just got home. My Darling, my oldest daughter and my two grandchildren are still there. I came to drink a Yuengling. (And probably another.) May go back in a bit. Good people around but I needed some "me" time.

Just quiet and I am thankful... I am thankful for the noise and I am thankful for the quiet. Enjoy this day and stay safe. God Bless you all...

Our task was to determine how things worked then how to measure that so the truth could be extracted then analyzed and illustrated as understandable scalable data using functionalities of GIS. When I began our accuracy was approximately 8 meters. When I retired our accuracy had improved to the millimeter with the datapoints located on targeted leaves as data sources. I was a happy government pest paid to investigate biological responses to phyiscal complexities, then using those existing tools as an attempt to enlighten.

I was a 96D at one time. (Oh as you know and I didn't know but I learned, USDA owns all the imagery over CONUS.)

I did different work but related to digitalized imagery enhancement. Been a long while but I have vivid memories of the expertise involved.

What I do now is quite different but is quite involved as well. I am thankful...

Hitting the hay shortly. I have to wear a suit tomorrow.... sigh... Got to represent... I guess...

Have a peaceful sleep and may God Bless you all...

Good morning from ATX. Currently 81°F and cloudy. Today's high expected around 103°F. We may have peaked at 102°F yesterday. Highs in the 90s arriving by possibly next Tuesday.

- Daughter texted; she made journey to Knoxville safely. We tracked her flight on Flight Aware. Plane flew up to OK then over to MO - KY - KnoxVegas. Friend of hers picked her up from airport. We really enjoyed her visit.

- Yesterday, I completed product testing with Fortasyn Connect, a drink for Alzheimer's and memory care. Cappuccino tasted best out of the three samples. Others were vanilla and strawberry. Samples arrived in 4.3 oz doses. Cool product test. I'm earning $50 for my efforts

- Must take wife to visit surgeon. Leaving around 8:00 am. Also taking laptop.

- Back to work. Short week.

It's a great day to be alive. Wishing all an awesome Tuesday.

Good morning D-League. Back on the subway. I need to get through this week then a blitz trip to Kentucky for my 50th reunion.

A really nice weekend. My son and I made it up to our favorite spot along the Appy Trail, starting at Crampton’s Gap, Md. and running to Fox Gap. That spans two of the major sites of combat during the South Mouuntain battle of 1862.

It’s a manageable stretch but steep in a few places. I made a bad call on footwear, opting for some lightweight New Balance running shoes instead of some Merrell hiking boots I own. The rocks played hell on my feet. My 23-year-old son is a damn mountain goat and I could tell he was throttling back to make it seem I was keeping up. Anyway, we managed to cover 11 miles, and I slept like I was in a coma.

Hope you all have an easy ride ahead this week.
