Hopefully the learned something.Tough Loss tonight. We needed this one
Good morning from ATX. Currently 48°F, cloudy with occasional light rain. Possibility for more precipitation until about noon. Looking at high of 59°F today.
Oh, man, Hogs kicked our butts at Rupp last night. Awful. Hogs shot much better, blocked more shots and stole more balls than our Cats. Just UGH!
Last night, I attended a get-together with my daughter and step-daughter plus current and former co-workers. Fine times. Ha ha, watched my daughter get a little tipsy. I even drank a non-alcoholic beer. It tasted really good. I'm just so blessed and lucky. My daughter flies out this morning. Her first visit to Austin since 2000 has been the best by far.
Chemo starts this morning. Gotta run
Wishing y'all a safe, enjoyable day.

Cal certainly is not earning his $173,000 per week.Good morning folks.
Maybe I should have watched the SOTU instead of that mess at Rupp.
We are just not that good. No other way to spin it.
Again, best wishes.Broadcasting live from Texas Oncology. Currently have internet. I can work from this location tomorrow and Friday. Ah, the miracles of modern medicine and technology.
Thank you, all for the well wishes. Currently receiving pre-med anti-nausea drugs. Serious stuff begins later today.

Very nice. Where is that? Don't recall a FL beach with palm or any trees.Good Morning D
A nice day ahead with a current temperature of 54°. There will be sunshine all day as it gets to 81°. I enjoy this time of year most of all. Pool temperature is 85°
Still SMH over last nights game. We are not the same program we once were and you can see it in the face of the fans. They started leaving with 5 minutes left in the game and whole sections were empty in minutes. Hard to watch that.
I trust all are well and prayers for Austin as he begins treatment. The Lord knows he is a good man and we wish him and his family the best. Always.

Are you serious?Very nice. Where is that? Don't recall a FL beach with palm or any trees.
I will not comment on the Cats. They are in real danger of missing out on the NCAA.
Yes. But now that you ask, is it "Palm" Beach? i really don't know as haven't been there. It's not like I've vacationed in FL much, maybe 7-8 times. Are you serious?
I am working on a very slim margin on getting into heaven. So by not expressing myself over the game may save me!Damn, you are one of the few people on this site I look forward to what you have to say post game...but I understand it was so ugly it's tough to talk about.
. . . . .
If I have to depend on if I've been a good boy, my goose is cooked. I can already feel the heat.I am working on a very slim margin on getting into heaven. So by not expressing myself over the game may save me!![]()
I understand. Many people in America who come to Florida fly down to Orlando, go to Disney World and then fly back home. Everything they see is man made fantasy land.Yes. One of the most relaxing vacations I ever had was in Mexico Beach before it was demolished by Hurricane Michael.I understand. Many people in America who come to Florida fly down to Orlando, go to Disney World and then fly back home. Everything they see is man made fantasy land.
Others fly to South Florida to the Miami and Ft Lauderdale area and all they experience is New York South and crowds of people wandering around. City people enjoy that.
The picture below is about 6 miles from my house and it is very wooded with no habitation.

Caladesi and Honeymoon Island are off the beaten path and you can lay back without the crowds and commercialism. No building is allowed on these islands. Florida has 1,350 miles of coast.

I guess it is not worth you and I losing our religion over.If I have to depend on if I've been a good boy, my goose is cooked. I can already feel the heat.
My daughter and SIL have settled into their apartment in Huntsville AL and are liking the area. We plan to go down this weekend and visit. Does anyone who lives in or knows the area have any recommendations on restaurants, sites to see, etc?
