D-League

I would love to see what kind of a dish Mrs. BBUk could come up with. You know it would be EPIC as my grandkids say.

Those are some seriously large shrimp. just a meal with one shrimp...

I was thinking of taking My Darling to Red Lobster Monday as they have all you can eat shrimp. Never thought of eating just two.

Almost sickens me as I WILL remember what you just posted and in comparison they do not compare.

My Darling decided she wanted the Chuckeye steak today. She's some disappointed as there was a lot of tendon in the one package. The meat looked so good. A lot had to be discarded and that is very unusual for the commissary.

At least we didn't lose by 30. Looking for a ray of sunshine in a stor

The Cats made another first for the UK history book.

Losing 78-52 was the larges margin of defeat in UK history against Alabama on the road. It could have been worse had we not hit a 3 at the buzzer.

I keep thinking UK was Top 5 preseason and picked to win the SEC. We certainly are not eliminated but we have a lot of hard games ahead.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the largest margin of defeat since the UT loss by 30 in 2013.

On a happier note for me.....(Would gladly share if it were possible...)

My supper.... Chuck eye...(All kinds of pieces due to My Darling removing all the tendons or hard parts.). with rice and broccoli...(Cut with a fork for the most part.)

What a fall and what a result...

Good Sunday Morning D

A cool 46Ā° and sunny skies for the entire day. 76Ā° for the high and no chance of rain. Well the score of the Bama game has not changed over night. It is what it is. Unbelievable.

I am looking forward to services today. I need to refresh and move forward in 2023. I trust all are well and in good health.

Morning Legionnaires!

30Ā° this morning with light winds. sunny skies and a high in the mid 50's expected.

Not as depressed as I normally was in the past after a loss. Becoming calloused to it. Not unlike how I use to feel after a UK football loss. Would always still watch the game but when the score got bad, I would just do something else. Now I do the same with the basketball team.

Only thing to do now is...Come on Bengals! (at least until fishing season)

Enjoy your Sunday folks and God Bless.

Good morning everyone.

Finished church setup and almost ready to head back over.

I gave up on the game early in the 2nd half and walked 3 miles instead. Good for the heart, soul, and mind. I'm glad I decided a few years ago to walk away if it's upsetting me.

Church and football...it's going to be a good day.

Same here Storm, I went walking too, arrow head hunting!!!!

Who Dey! Bengals win the division and avoid the bullshit coin flip the NFL set up as a possibility after the Bills cancellation.

I THINK with the Bills winning today that everything is where it would have been even if the Bengals had beaten the Bills on Monday. But not sure. Their records would have been the same so it would have come down to a tie breaker.

In any case, Ravens should be a decent matchup for Bengals.

Good morning D-League.

Nice weekend, aside from the Cats. Now back to the first normal workweek - including trips by subway downtown - since mid-December.

Looking forward to the Georgia-TCU game tonight. I believe Georgia will win comfortably, but Iā€™m sure Michigan fans believed that too. I just donā€™t see TCU having one of those games where virtually every lucky break imaginable goes their way ā€”again.

Hope itā€™s a good day for all.

Good morning D-League!

35Ā° foggy and spittin. It's a new year and I need to get away from the other social medias, so you're stuck with me a while.

CFootball is over Tonight. Recruiting here is winding down or up or whatever. Just gonna catch up when it's done. Saw we got a commitment from a guy named Silver!

Basketb.... nevermind

I'll get caught up by Wednesday I'm thinkin. Have only been able to lurk briefly. Good to see everybody, and hope God is continuing to bless you!

Good morning folks. Glad it is Friday. Grueling week.

Got my second PT session later this morning. Not exactly looking forward to it, but I am hoping to keep some momentum going on getting to 100 percent.

Watching a replay of Indiana blowing a 21-point lead to an Iowa team that was winless in conference -0-3. My goodness, the defense in the B-10 is atrocious. Iowa scored 91 on Indiana after scoring 50 on Nebraska a week ago while getting blown out.

Have a good day folks.

We're in PT together, but apart. Had my first appt at 9am Friday and am still sore from the preliminary assessment. Let's crush it, @MdWIldcat55 !

That Big10 D will look remarkable in the hands of the refs come tourney time! No worries there

Cloudy and 46 here.

Bad game from an apparently not so good team. Cal and UK has lost it. UK shot a horrible 28.8% from the field. Remember the pre season talk about UK having great shots?

They have shooters. They don't have good coaching. This coach has turned a team game into an individual sport and they're losing as a team...

Selling on Ebay.

I just kicked the day off with a sale of a magazine I bought in 1973 for 95 cents. Selling price $35.00 plus $9.95 S/H.

I subscribed to a magazine called Kentucky Sports and it had a great interview with Paul Bear Bryant and also a great article by Adolph Rupp on his support of football at UK. The reality was he was a huge fan and supporter of the team.

This is a rare magazine that would interest a collector or someone who wants to collect things about Bear Bryant or Adolph Rupp. I hate to turn it loose but I am downsizing. I would say I made a pretty good profit on this one though.

I would love to have that one, but I'm saving my money for a couple new saws and a drill press.
