Decided to move on when it was getting ugly and watch Halloween Ends and Blair Witch Project —something lighter and more full of cheer than the game, in other words.

Hate to say it but Levis is overrated. Good not great.
Should have built a fire outside and listened to music. Would have been much more rewarding.

82 -Yep. The town it’s purportedly set in —Burkittsville -is about 30 miles from where we live. My daughter and I passed through the town and stopped in at the graveyard during our yearly Halloween tour of the ghosts of the Shenandoah last weekend.
UK82 -- If you recall the Blair Witch movie - this sign is in an early shot. This is my younger daughter. We share a love of ghost stories and creepy haunted towns and houses.

Well, it’s officially basketball season for sure after last night. As for football —I feel like Charlie Brown and “Lucy” Stoops has pulled the ball again.
in fairness, Stoops has moved the program forward, but he’s not capable of getting over the hump and making the Cats a national contender. Maybe no one is. But if it ever happens it’ll be some young, energetic maverick with innovative ideas. Someone like young Pitino or young Calipari. Or maybe young Bear Bryant in about 1950. Not holding my breath.

The program has peaked imo. Our glory football days are 10-3 max. We just don't have the structure - recruiting territory/resources - nor history of success/support - to go further. It is what it is.

They tax plastic bags here in Fairfax county. (Note: They do not charge anything for them BUT, they tax them. Tell me how that works please.....)
Just CRIMINAL! I'd be happy for any entity to tell me how it is not. (Same with MdW....) (I'd have fought too!) (Oh, our emission test is $27 or $28 but it is every two years...) (Plus the $20.00 inspection annually) Plus the ANNUAL "Property" tax which was $280 or so for my 2015 Camry. Yeah they raised the taxes due to the price of cars going up so they just passed it along... Doesn't matter what you actually paid for the vehicle... (Rant over...)
I am afraid you may be right. Our history shows the Cats seldom show up to play Tennessee. The team quit before they took the field.
Even the basketball team struggles in Knoxville and history shows that as well. The 66 Runts lost in Knoxville, their only regular season loss. The Bear Bryant team that beat Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl lost to Tennessee. Tennessee owns Kentucky, sad to say.

Just had a young couple pick up the BB's baby bed which he never used other than to climb into it and play in it. It was a fine piece of furniture that sat in our bedroom for three years... A nice young couple, of course they showed up in a compact car. (Had to call Ole Dad with his truck.) I had to rub it in too. (What would we do with out dear ole Dad? And some more digs...) (A nice husband and wife that seemed to have it together but I gathered they are starting off slow.) The bed/crib was priced right though for a good couple to afford.

With all of the taxes up there no wonder you have to earn $120,000 a year to break even and feed yourself.

Kentucky wasted an excellent program building opportunity on Saturday night by turning in one of their worst performances in years.
Even Tennessee-Martin's QB had 301 passing yards last week against Tennessee.

It is partly cloudy and 63.1°F here. We were blessed with .25" of rain over night. Wonderful. We are supported to get to 66 this afternoon. I am praying for more rain. The Ohio and Mississippi river valleys are needing water. The rivers are getting so low that barge traffic is having problems. The last time I remember this is in 1986. I was National Sales Manager for Chemicals and Petroleum products in Houston, TX. I got awards because I got all the traffic that the barge lines could not take. Luck is better than being good!
The Tennessee game was worse than I expected. I don't know why we can't replace the long snapper with someone that can do it. Our kicking game is suffering because of one man. GEEZE.

Yes it was Bert. Much worse but I didn't have my eyes open completely. History tells me not to expect anything good from this game. With a few exceptions.
I turned it off after the first series of the second half and had no idea what the final score was until I came to this site this morning. I am glad they didn't put 50 on us because they certainly could have.
Some of the bounty from yesterday. Caught about 30 or so nice ones....
It was cold but not unbearable...
I only fished two lines but again came up empty. I think it would take a night trip but I don't have the interest. It is about 75 miles one way. I talked to a couple guys and they stated they used blood worms. (While I was there, they weren't catching anything either. We stayed through two tide changes so that wasn't it...) Had a nice day with My Darling anyway.... we are for sure not crab poor.
My Darling had me take some soup over to my friend and his wife who just had a baby. The crabs were alive when the soup was started. Not much better to be had...

A man was ice fishing for about 2 hours after cutting a hole in the ice when another man pulled up about 10ft from him and cut a hole as well. Within minutes he was pulling in fish. Befuddled he went over to the man and told him he had been sitting there fishing for a couple of hours without catching a thing and ask the other man how he did it. The other man mumbled and grunted but was incoherent so, he asked again how he did it. The man once again mumbled and grunted to the point where he was frustrated and told him I still can't understand you. So, the man catching the fish spit into his hand and said: " I keep my worms warm".
Can't you call the cops and report them for indecent exposure? Those Robin's have always been a strange bunch.
It looks like I finally found where all of you all get such a high post count. Found it with a search for "hunt" and also saw blue crabs on this page. Seems like a good place to pull up a chair.
