My apologies, I didn't disclaim that post properly. Those were not my words, it was my post but I did copy and paste it. I do not disagree with it for sure... That about sums up my feelings.
Now, tell us how you really feel.
First thing I saw was the pond (insert homer drooling picture).I really love this photo. Reminds me so much of the cool, late spring/early summer evenings back in SE KY. Sit outside, take in the air, drink a couple beers and enjoy those mountains.
My wife has now started looking up these national whatever days and yesterday in preparation for the day she brought home some chocolate donuts and apple fritters for today. Needless to say, my daughter and I got an early start yesterday,Good morning from ATX. Currently 68°F, cloudy and soggy. Occasional flooding in certain areas. More rain expected around noon or so. Today's high may top out around 77°F or so. Considering our average highs during June are 91°F, it's safe to say I'm loving this weather.
Happy Friday!
Wishing happiness and health for all our fellow D-League members.
I know there are many thousands of fans who feel this way. UK basketball was once something I could connect with family and friends and talk for hours. A lot of my family did not listen to or watch a single game for the first time in their life last season. So now that is gone. It should be interesting to see what kind of attendance they get at Rupp this season. I will be surprised if they sell it out. One thing for sure there are no more waiting lists to get season tickets.I still state Cal will somehow have to figure out how to un-kneel for me to get where I used to be concerning UK. I could have easily looked over a one time thing from the players and chalked that up to either bad people or ignorant/ stupid young people. Cal took it to a level I am not sure he can or I can recover from. We shall see...
Those were the real ugly people from Kentucky that liberals always talk about. The 400 mile yard sale is going on this weekend. It basically runs from one end of Ky to the other. Jan wanted to set up with her craft work. Where we are at has 50 vendors and was pretty busy yesterday for the first day and being a Thursday. I was counting mask wearers. Saw 4 people all day long wearing masks out of probably several hundred that we saw.
Just finished, 64 and 65, I always want to remember doing good works will not get me to first base without my sins being forgiven.Read 64, Praying for Mercy and help
read 65, New Heaven and earth
Mr. Bernie, where are you set up at?The 400 mile yard sale is going on this weekend. It basically runs from one end of Ky to the other. Jan wanted to set up with her craft work. I see an occasional mask wearer and almost always it is an out of state visitor. I guess we need a sign at the state line "NO MASK REQUIRED"Morning all. There's this big, bright, orange thing in the Eastern sky here in the Buckeye State. Hard to look at. Haven't seen it for a couple of days.
Getting up to the low 80s. Little humidity. Sounds good.
Funny how in some ways that time flies....and others it really drags. Our governor's mask mandate ended either yesterday or Wed (not sure...I never wore one anyway). Sure seemed like a L O N G TWO WEEKS to flatten that curve.
Love, love, love doughnuts. Can gain a couple pounds just looking at them.
Y'all have a good day.
Is that the Rt. 127 yard sale.......the 127 yard sale goes from Michigan almost to the southern coast........my daughter...(English Flare Interiors) and myself traveled it a few years back........we only went about 75 miles of it south of Frankfort.......my daughter is into the re-purposed funiture and signs.......she started the furniture deal while living in England and added the signs after moving back to KY....she's got a good gig going on.......she's got crafty hands.......The 400 mile yard sale is going on this weekend. As usual I watched all the UK football and basketball. The kneeling pissed me off because they insulted my country.I never thought it possible but i did not watch one uk basketball or football game this past year, and i don’t plan on watching again any time soon. i’ve soured on all sports except for watching my grandsons. i still like to watch golf, which has managed to keep the socialist pc bullshit away.
That reminds me of a songI really love this photo. Reminds me so much of the cool, late spring/early summer evenings back in SE KY. Sit outside, take in the air, drink a couple beers and enjoy those mountains.
That will not be happening. I once heard a well known radio talk show host say Calipari is the most liberal coach in college basketball. Now that his side has won he will dig deeper into his liberalism. Remember what his number one goal is. Hint it is not winning NCAA titles.I still state Cal will somehow have to figure out how to un-kneel for me to get where I used to be concerning UK. Sonny Osborne is on of my personal banjo idols.........y'all would think I was stupid if I was to confess how many hours I have spent learning his style of 5-string banjo style...........the saying is......"by the time I learned that song the Director was ready to divorce me"........her claim.......cruel and unusual punishment.......That reminds me of a song

Rarely eat tulips either - even if they're handed out free.Good morning D-League. It's currently 63°, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 83° expected later today.
Everyone stay safe on this Friday.
Wore one this a.m. Allergist required it.I see an occasional mask wearer and almost always it is an out of state visitor. I guess we need a sign at the state line "NO MASK REQUIRED"
I have seen the Osbornes many times and I must have every record they have recorded. Sonny was one of the best. The last I heard he had severe arthritis and was not touring anymore. Bobby is still going strong the last I heard.Sonny Osborne is on of my personal banjo idols.........y'all would think I was stupid if I was to confess how many hours I have spent learning his style of 5-string banjo style...........the saying is......"by the time I learned that song the Director was ready to divorce me"........her claim.......cruel and unusual punishment.......
The Going to the Sun Road is one of the all-time best scenic ones.Just doing a Fly By in my "sport model" alien space craft. We're headed out to Montana to check out Glacier NP for a few days. Hopefully the Good Lord will bless us with good weather and health so we can check this NP off of our list. Be GOOD BBN! And keep an eye on those skies! 👽👽
There is a giant Krispy Kreme facility in W. Chicago......when you go into the front door, they have a lady with two drum sticks handing fresh glazed she is picking off of the line......just as they get the glaze bath......fluffy, hot........damn things disappear like cotton candy........absolutely wonderful......Rarely eat donuts & other pastries. Now if someone handing them out free.........
I can't begin to know how many times I have seen them.........when I was playing a lot of music, we would go to one or two fesivals a month.......April-Oct.........in the late 80's & early 90's the Osborne Bros were doing a lot of festivals..........a guy that played music with us had a squeeze that was in charge of volunteers at the IBMA festivals......got to meet a lot of musicians and into a lot of festivals on the cheap.......I have seen the Osbornes many times and I must have every record they have recorded. Sonny was one of the best. The last I heard he had severe arthritis and was not touring anymore. Bobby is still going strong the last I heard.
And I too have spent countless hours laying on the floor and listening to the rain and every other record they recorded. The best is all I can say
I was listening to a show today and they were discussing Donut Day. One of the donuts discussed was a Maple Bacon Bourbon Donut. Now I have not had one of these but I sure would give it a tryThere is a giant Krispy Kreme facility in W. Congrats to her on her outstanding achievement. We are proud of the young lady. Please tell her to drive safely and defensively. The other driver often is the danger on the highway. My oldest daughter passed her driver's exam today. I told her when she was young, I would treat her accordingly to her grades. Well going into her Senior year, she is ranked #1 in her class. She's taking 5 college level classes next year, and has already scored an 26 on the ACT. So you know what dad got to do? Buy her a car to honor my promise (worth every bit of it too) I've already made the same deal with my youngest daughter.
Back in Spring, we finally got around to trying some donuts like that. I figured, donuts and bacon, what could be wrong. They were great, probably one of my favorites now.I was listening to a show today and they were discussing Donut Day. One of the donuts discussed was a Maple Bacon Bourbon Donut. Now I have not had one of these but I sure would give it a try
Thanks Sawnee. That's the part that worries me. I use to love driving, but now that I've gotten older, not so much. Too many people thinking they own the road for my liking.Congrats to her on her outstanding achievement. We are proud of the young lady. Please tell her to drive safely and defensively. The other driver often is the danger on the highway.

Morisson's?One thing I miss in this new fast food world are the old cafeterias. This once was one of my favorite places to visit. Reasonably priced and a very good selection. Most of them were family owned but a few had several locations.
