My Steelers just lost their third game in a row. A poster I always got along with got banned because he was turned in by a poster that argues with damn near everyone he comes in contact with. Not been the best Monday night
Good morning from ATX. Currently 43°F, partly cloudy, humid and calm. Today's high may come in at 74°F. Cold front on the way and should arrive by Christmas Eve. Sounds good. At least we're not boiling hot with the air conditioner blasting 24/7.
Happily, the powers that be allowed 7-2 Army to replace UT and play in the Liberty Bowl. Long overdue.
Two more working days and then 4 days off. Yay!

Bengals win! Bengals win! Small solace for the year at hand. Not a Steelers fan at all. Outside of the 49er's, they are my most hated team. Am taking daughter shopping for her to buy presents for her mother, g-mother, and uncle. Going to take a side trip to an office down the hall from where I used to work. Lady there used to rag on me about my Bengals. Heh, heh, heh, pay back today. Will wear Bengals gear today for extra ummpphh.
Well, everyone stay safe today and gear up for the holidays and not the recent woller days.

Day 9 of where's the package? I have been wondering if it took the Pony Express 8 days to get from Central City to Smith's Grove?!!! BUT I just have to remember what the POST MASTER told me, " IT'S NOT LOST, IT'S JUST NOT THERE YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try spraying something like hot pepper juice or a mixture of vinegar and citrus juice on it.

Good morning D-League. Picking up on the theme of mail deliveries, my wife has been ridiculing me for about five years for dealing with the chaos of actual stores to Christmas shop instead of doing it all sitting at a computer drinking a cup of coffee.
Well, my Christmas shopping is wrapped and under the tree, and hers is spread out in warehouses and branch depots all over the east coast, waiting for employees out sick to return to work.
Here's a tune that'll put a spring in your step. The Lilliburlero has its origins among the Scots-Irish in Northern Ireland to whom many of us trace our heritage. It was used by British Commandos in WW2 as their marching song. Back in the late 80s and 90s when I was traveling a lot overseas, the BBC World Service used it as their signature theme at the top of every hour. I'd listen to it on a little shortwave radio I carried.

Today I check the mail and we had a massive dump. So much junk mail it was hard getting the rest of the mail out of the box.
If the Post Office really wanted to get out of debt they could raise the rates for junk mail. But I will not hold my breath waiting on that to happen. They just raise the cost of a stamp for you and I.

Bengals snapped an 11-game losing streak to the Steelers dating back to 2015. I believe the all-time record for this rivalry is 67-36, Steelers.

My son wanted the new PlayStation for Christmas. Hardest gift I’ve ever tried to buy anyone. Felt like it was almost impossible to get.
I spent 32 years on the Railroad being looked down upon because I was from the South and working for a Southern Corporation. It did not matter that we were making a bunch of money, we were still stupid.
My wife was invited to a seminar in Indiana to remove her southern accent. It really got ugly. Sherry told that bitch off in about three sentences. The poor thing ended up being scared of my sweetheart, and I was proud of my wife.
I got really good at sharpening my southern accent and rubbing it in especially when I was in New York and the stock analysts from all the trading houses were asking me about business models for my company and seeking information that only I knew. Plus my boss, John Snow was a Southern guy also.
Screw their arrogance. We all put our britches on the same damn way.

We never missed a single show. To a Southern boy watching these loud mouth Yankees arguing in their little New York apartment was the best entertainment on earth. I had no idea people lived like that.
