Sounds good. We went to the Outback, for one last meal out before the Andy Shutdown.
This is really going to happen?

It just sounds so bizzare when you live in an area that is totally back to normal. No limit in restaurant seating, well you can't exceed code, and certainly no limit of people visiting on Thanksgiving Day. That all sounds surreal to me.

Did y'all know Big Blue Madness is tonight? I had no idea.

Once this was the next thing to making the Final Four. Coach Hall started at Midnight and I actually drove from Clearwater to Lexington to attend it. For the next 30 years I had the night circled on my calendar. Now I forget about it.

Times sure do change
Wife and I will tune in.

Yep, we were the last customers there. We entered at 3:40 and they did not allow anyone to come in after 4:15. Carry out only until at least Dec 15.

Evening D, after delivering the THIN BLUE LINE badges today, I decided to go metal detecting, that also made for a good day!!!!

Had a first for me detecting, I found 2 1930 wheat back pennies in the same hole!
Found a Tri-Sure monkey wrench, I believe it goes to a barrel, patent 1932
What looks like maybe an old radiator cap off of a model-t
Also half of something with 2 firemen axes crossed, right above where the axes cross is the letters UR, then right below where the axes cross is the letter O, then below each ax head is a letter W. I think I am going to take it to the fire station and see if they can tell me what it is. This is the same lot I found the old Durant grease hub, I think it was from a 1922 maybe.

Good morning from ATX. Current temperature is 61°F and cloudy. Expecting 81°F for today's high.

I'm leaving soon. Picked up rental car late yesterday afternoon. They gave me a Dodge Charger. I'd rather have a Nissan Sentra or Ultima.

Another Big Blue Madness in the books. It appears we have a full team this season. Happy we've got Mintz and Sarr. Mintz shot great last night.

We'll check back later while I'm on the road.

Good Saturday Morning,

Another beautiful day the Lord has made. Temperature is 69° and clear with 10% chance of rain We will reach 78° for our high. I am enjoying "Old Folks" Country Sausage for breakfast. On these chilly mornings it hits the spot.

Safe travel for AustinTXCat , hope the roads are dry and not much traffic.

Today will be a light one for me. No heavy work on the schedule , just a little straightening out in the garage. I see where Tennessee is picked to win the SEC this year in basketball. It seems like old times when they were our Number 1 rival. We had some great games with the Vols back then.

Tested Positive today...feeling fine. A little feverish, joint aches and pains. Somewhat fatigued.
Not sure where I picked it up from...?
I’ll be alright. Thanksgiving is a wash though
Here's praying that your case is mild, very mild. No more the the normal flu aches and pains.
Offering up prayers for you OldEvilleCat.🙏

Hate that for you, but my wife and I both recovered from it. I felt really bad for about 4 days, then started feeling better. Lost my sense of smell, but it is coming back a little. Just rest, stay hydrated so you don't get pneumonia, and if you have any problems breathing, get into the emergency room.

Thanks for the prayers fellas. Either I don’t need them or they worked.
Granted I could be better, but doing fine.
Ears are stopped up and ringing at the moment.
Kinda weird....

Safe travelin’ ATX
You long legged Hoosiers are tough dudes! 👍

I told Sherry you had Covid and she ask that I pass along her hope you kick it square in the butt.
