Good morning from ATX. Currently 63°F, foggy and cloudy. Fog sits east of us, but rolling our way soon. Today's high should come in around 83°F.

I pick up the rental car today at 4:00 pm. Plan on leaving around 2:30 am tomorrow morning.

Happy Friday!

Wishing all our fellow D-League members happiness and health.

Good Friday Morning D League

We are waking up to another pleasant cool day with a temperature of 60°. We should have plenty of sunshine as we get to a high of 78° this afternoon. Our rain chance is 5%. Our moon phase is waxing cresent.

Not much going on today, I will take a few hours and detail my truck. If I have a little extra time I will clean some guns. Always something to do

Morning from a mild, sunny and clear Ohio. Looks to be a pretty nice day.

Home project is done. Refinished the floor in the dining room. Worked on it for a week. Took 4 or 5 days to sand it down to the point where I thought it would be smooth with no gouges, swirls, etc. First time using a belt floor sander. Used multiple sanders. Then stained and four coats of poly. Turned out pretty good. Maybe the best that 163 year old hard pine has looked. Just glad it's over.

Don't have an arsenal like you guys. Wish I did considering how quickly my country is running off the rails.
Only arsenal I've got is a German Luger my Dad took off a dead German officer. Hasn't been fired since about 1955, and I doubt you can even get ammo for it now.

Everyone have a good day.

Most of my weapons have been purchased from private individuals. I did buy the .22 Derringer at a gun pawn shop. I keep it in my truck in the center console. A pistol was bought from a man selling tomatoes on the side of the road. I pulled over to buy a sack of tomatoes for supper and left with the bag and a .38 special. He had it on the tailgate of his pickup, I asked if he wanted to sell it and he did.

5 of the rifles were bought from my brother in law and my uncle gave me a few pistols before he died. Weapons are not hard to get in Florida. I do need to start downsizing though. I could probably get rid of half of them and be OK

I just got back from Publix and found my favorite sausage on the shelf. It is a new item at our store and is selling fast. I bought up a bunch of them. Feeling good today.

Cause it's goooooood. I met Al once, when I was working for Waste Management, out of Louisville. I called on their plant in Shelbyville, and talked with him, in his office. He is a nice fellow, but he is not the homespun country boy he portrays in the commercial. Very savvy businessman, and big UK fan.

I am not optimistic either. The Bama QB is in a race with the Florida QB for the Heisman Trophy. He is going to do his best to light up the end zone with TD passes. I see a minimum of 5 passing TDs from Jones and if Bama really wants to run up the score, watch out.

And just think, he backed out of a UK commitment, twice.

I believe that now that Biden will be in office you will see issues with getting ammo. They cannot legislate gun ownership, but the constitution doesn't specifically protect ammunition. Watch and see if it doesn't become harder to get, and more expensive, in the next couple of years. That will be how they put "gun control" into effect.

Here is the pictures of Ben101's willow tree. I have cut and pasted his description below the picture.

Here are a couple of pictures of my willow tree. I took one with my grandson standing beside it, so you could get idea of how large it is, at the base. Also, it's hard to tell how big the rest of it is because it has lost a lot of its leaves, and one large branch, on the upper left of the photo, was taken out when we had the 60 mph gusts, a week or so ago. Another really large arm goes way over into the other trees, on the right, but its hard to see in the photo.

Sherry and I sat with Al brother and his wife at two Florida games. They are good folks. If I remember correctly their dad worked at the L&N Railroad.

Morning folks. I don't have much of an arsenal. I have a .44 mag, a .22 and .22 mag pistols, one 30 30 Winchester and two .22 rifles. The 30 30 and .22 pump rifles are collector items.

It is trying to be a sunny day here but the clouds just may win out. It is 57.7°F now on its way to 66°. I have Austin, TX company tomorrow but he is bring in clouds. He ain't going to experience "The Sun Shines Bright on My old Kentucky Home" tomorrow!

I am blackening cat fish tonight with grits and slaw. You all eat your hearts out!

Good morning D, bright and sunny in the Berg.

It's already been an emotional day here, delivered my first THIN BLUE LINE badge this morning. I went to the courthouse to show my friend and ex-sheriff who was going to set up the meeting. I handed one to him, he unwrapped it and said that's beautiful and she will love it, told him that was his, the look on his face told the story. As I showed him the other ones, he said one of the ladies worked in the courthouse and did I want to go ahead and give it to her. He called her up and we presented it to her. She cried and said she had, had a couple bad days and she needed this today!!! GOD has a way of doing things that just works out for all the right reasons!!!!! I got some pictures and a hug that paid for all the time I spent on making these!!!One more to deliver when he gets a meeting set up. We never understand sometimes why GOD gives us a talent to do something with our hands, today I understand why HE showed me about stained glass!!!!

I hope the D has a great day, mine has been!!!!

SC you would be amazed at the amount of glass that I have just given away!!! I used to make CHRISTMAS ornaments, etch the year in them, then I started painting the year on them, may make some this year, I haven't done that in a while!!!

I am with you. I would rather give away things any day. My father was like that. He gave away a fortune. He had an extensive library, many rare books. If someone visited and liked a book on his shelf he would let them take it home. I like that kind of personality.

The older I get the more I realize I don't need another $5 by selling something out of my garage. So if you need it and I don't, take it home.

I'm purposely trying not to get excited but this is as much talent as I've seen spread across any collegiate team. Easily 10 deep and flexible. No one can run with this bunch so expect their opponents to fight. The boys will have to grow up quickly. Again, they'll get better every game. Hopefully an entertaining escape from the political hostility but you never know.

In my book the hens are far better than a Turkey, but it is thanksgiving so we go with turkey knowing full well that the chickens would be much better in my book.

Rooster, can you do anything with this old photo?
Got it.
And assassins. Don't leave out the assassins.
Or cannibals

Exactly . . . My house does not have heat or a source of heat. . . She over heats in the summer and chills in the winter. Women do that sort of thing

Gotta be a babdist church (I'm not sure with that wild clapping though).

I am watching the Press Conference giving information regarding the lowering of drug prices. Trump fought the special interest drug companies and we won. We were paying 5x the cost some countries pay.

We were at the mercy of drug companies especially for life saving drugs they could charge extreme high prices for. If he is kicked out of office these are things we will miss. The establishment will return and the last thing on their mind is to reduce costs for you and I

Cornish Hens are a real sin.
They are too good to be legal!
Cornish Hens are like women; too good to be real.
I love cornish hens, I love roasted hens and I also LOVE turkey legs. I am the only person in my family who likes dark meat. A turkey breast is too dry for my taste. We roast a bunch of them and I eat them watching football games during the holiday season. Give me a big ole' turkey leg and let's get it on
