Nunah, Nunah, Dude looks like a lady!

Good Friday morning Legionaires. Hope today finds those who are struggling with physical or mental pain with relief and relaxation. I pray that the good Lord keeps you and your families in good health and happiness Amen.

Have not fished this week yet, rain on Monday and Tuesday and appointments Wednesday, yesterday, and today. The kayak is still unused but, tomorrow look out bass, here I come.

Use to love buying fresh shrimp off the boats down around Savannah. Beautiful atmosphere.
Not quite as exotic, use to also buy fresh shrimp from back of pickup trucks on the highway to the airport in New Orleans. Shrimp was from Lake Ponchetrain (I believe). They had it packaged in dry ice for your flight home.
Georgia wild caught shrimp are really good. I refuse to buy any shrimp from China and will not buy farm raised shrimp. I want fresh shrimp from the deep salt waters of the Atlantic and Gulf. There is a huge difference in the taste. But the main thing is don't buy China shrimp.

I am hoping that Daniel follows Mitch in six years.
Can I like this 10000 times?
I'm hoping he beats out Andy for Governor, first, and then runs.
I

I'm good with that! I've met the man...he's the real deal!
I like him because he interprets the law, and then makes his decision. I will support him for whatever office he next runs for.
Even though AG Cameron is an ex Card (ugh), I'd also gladly vote for him if I lived up there. Hey, we can overlook certain small stuff once in a while. [winking]

It is time for a draft Daniel movement.

When we lived in Jacksonville we never bought shrimp or fish. My son procured it for nothing. We lived off a creek near the St. Johns river and it was full of shrimp and after my son got his drivers license he would go to the Atlantic and surf fish. Lemon shark, red fish (before they restricted the catch too much) and other species. All I had to furnish was a salt rod and reel and a casting net.

Let me suggest buying a few trinkets of women's jewelry and several dollars in quarters (check with Austin), bury them at various places in some area. Rent or borrow a detector and take your wife out there with you. Excitedly make the finds and give her the loot. You'll be in like Flynn. Tell her that if you had had a better-quality detector you would find more and better stuff.

Ha Ha....(Good late morning all!) Some would be amazed at how observant my wife is, I never try fooling her. Sharp as a tack. I am betting I could do that without any trickery but it is an idea.;)

This morning's haul. Life is good. Happy Friday.

Just found out the other day and had the counseling this morning for social security benefits for my daughter since she is under 18 and I am now drawing. We set up an account for her at our credit union the other day and the counselor set up her benefits this morning and she will be receiving $805.50 a month after taxes until June 2024.

Good morning D! I got the food delivered this morning to my friends who are sick. BBQ, (home made), pimiento cheese(homemade), brownies, chips and buns. Sometimes when your sick you can't stand the smell of food, maybe this will help!

DANG WC, I AM SLOW!! just kicked in!!!![roll]

I hope everyD has a great day, I know mine is, not doing anything!!!

It is a damp day in Smiths Grove. We are at 69.3°F on our way to a damp 78°. We got .02" of rain over night.

It was enough, along with apparently a heavy dew to show off the funnel spider webs. I love the little fellows because of their artwork. The Barberry bush shows them off well.

Note: Without the glass... 😉 (Sure wish I could share..)
We are so glad to have you and you have added so much to our forum. I told you we have great posters who enjoy life and are very diverse, living all over the place.

Some of us may be a little older but we have lived the life and still are living the life. We were not born yesterday and most of us have been around this big country and most parts of the world.

Really looking forward to watching the Cats tomorrow. I know many are boycotting but I just can't do it. It's my team and it's in my blood. Now I may turn the sound off and listen to music during the game, we'll see. UK sports has and always will be a huge part of my life. Can't shut them down no matter what.

I've been enjoing their brew for years. Really like their Black & Tan.
Yeah, I get on a Black and Tan binge every once in a while where I drink those instead. A real good beer.
Black and Tan is okay. Something about that unusual mixture turns me off. My first time drinking the brew was in Shawanee, TN on a warm 4th July day back 5-6 years ago. Yeungling will finally begin distributing here in Texas soon.
