Part of the Mc klan myself.

Talk about Karma.
Posted this morning about how y'all like to brew coffee. The Mrs. goes shopping...went to Penny's which is going out and everything is 60-70% off. And guess what....she comes home with a Kuerig.
So now we've got a 3 drip coffeemakers (one on the countertop, and 2 in the boxes above the garage), french press, and Kuerig. Should be covered.

Good Tuesday morning Legionaires. This is normally one of my fishing days but, rain is coming in so, I must wait until Thursday. Have not had time to try the Kayak yet so, stay tuned.

Back to teaching Karate again. Went last night to help an old friend with his dojo. 2 hours worth. A little sore this morning as I usually train 3 times a week but only for an hour during that time frame. Even though I was teaching I still have to be able to show the students how to perform the task. Only going to teach there once a week for now. Have 2 adults wanting personal training that are gymnastics instructors at a local gymnastics facility. One is the daughter of a man (owns the gym) I used to play softball with many years ago. Will probably start doing it a couple of times a week but only for an hour at a time as that will fulfill my normal 3 times a week training that I do now.

One more thing this morning, I have jury duty next week so look out criminals. Will probably go as it did last time about 5 years back. Was not selected for any jury because, I either knew the lawyers involved or the DA's. Played volleyball with 3 of the local DA's almost every Sunday afternoon during the summer and played softball with a couple of the lawyers in the downtown leagues so, could not be chosen.

It must be going around I have jury duty in November and December. I always wanted jury duty when I was working at Goodyear because I would get paid my full pay. 32 years and 5 months and I never got called. One month after I retired I got the notice and now 16 years later I get another one. Lol.

Hey fellas...you're not too far off Rooster! It's been keeping me on my toes. Once I get accustomed to things I should be back to normal in a few months. Still no excuse...I got free time at home.
I became a Grandpa for the 2nd time over the weekend! Daughter #1 had a little girl, all are home and doing well.
You guys keep on truckin'....
Congrats gramps!

I've been called 3 times. It's worth it just to see how the system works and can be really interesting if you sit in on an interesting case. Unfortunately it can really drag out while waiting in the jury room.

I've been on one jury in my life. Spent a whole day with a guy defending himself against a drunk driving charge. Swore up and down the cop just didn't like him and framed him. We found him guilty. I was the only jurist who waited around for his sentence. I learned then he was an habitual drunk driver. I walked up to him later and said, "I'm curious. Were you guilty?" He said, "Oh sure." He handed me a phone number and asked me to call his wife to tell her he would be going to jail. I did.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 71°F and partly cloudy. Expect 81°F for today's high. We return to the 90s by Saturday for a short spell.

Sarr lifts our cats into a title contender.
As much as everybody else crams his name down our collective throats, I certainly hope so.

[laughing]

I've been summoned twice here in Austin. Sat around much of the morning. Never picked for a trial.

Wishing continued happiness and good health to all our fellow D-League members.

Good Wednesday morning D League

Drinking a black, strong cup of coffee waiting on the sun to come up. Our temperature is 68º and we should see a high of 83º No rain in the forecast. The humidity is dropping to the low 80's and we have a steady 10mph breeze off of the Gulf. So all in all a pleasant day and I am going to do some light yard work. My lawn boy will be by mid morning and take care of mowing, edging and blowing grass clippings off of the walkways and driveways. I have St Augustine and we do not bag it.

Trust all are well and we still miss Ymmot and Bev. I trust they get back on for football season. Stay safe, especially to all of you Louisville residents.

My Dad's second wife loved that stuff. She would get fighting mad if you mentioned that it was scripted.
I remember as a boy those discussions at Thanksgiving Dinner. The big names when I was growing up were Lou Thesz, Don Eagle, Nature Boy Buddy Rogers, and Mr Moto. We would argue for hours whether or not wrestling was fake.

"Discussions" would get so heated that grandma would run everybody out of the house to argue out in the yard or better yet go down to the barn. There were many Thanksgiving dinners served with a few of my uncles or cousins at the table with busted heads. It was some serious stuff back in those days.

My daddy had two favorites. Lou Thez and Nature Boy Buddy Rogers. I liked Buddy Rogers and Don Eagle. Lou Thesz was the Champion most of the time

Ahhhh, the good old days. Arguing about the merits of wrestling during Thanksgiving dinner and not politics.
