No, never have been to the VA for anything. You receive VA disability for hearing? I have not, but a friend of mine has.

I see the Cats cracking the Top 25 after their third game.
Bert, do you have a Roku or another way of getting the ESPN app on your t.v.? If so, you should be able to watch the SEC Alternate Channel through the ESPN app. It'll just ask for your t.v. provider and have you log in to your Spectrum account to verify that you're a paid subscriber.I am pissed. The SEC Network is carrying the UK game as the alternate. Spectrum in my area does not cover the alternate.
I will not get it live on my TV.
I called Spectrum and vented. Nothing will happen, but I am really, really pissed.
I always suspected that. Hasn’t changed a lick in the last 47 years since the film. Except to get older and taller. Did you know he is older than dirt? But he sure can pick that banjo.
I still haven't seen any damage that would suggest 185 mph wind. Far from it. Just now I saw the latest data from the hurricane plane that showed max wind speed in the eyewall at 100 mph. Talking head said they were leaving it at 145 mph and that's what the graphic off to the side still says.
Isn't a hurricane serious enough on its own? Does a hurricane really need embellishment? There must be some reason why we would be misled by our most trusted weather sources.
We UK is not on tv I usually go on the Wildcat thread and it is on there sometimes.Bert, do you have a Roku or another way of getting the ESPN app on your t.v.? Hey Ace, can you share with us about some of the diet changes you've made since you started your diet back on May 1 ?
Agreed. Perused it a bit. No. 1 song when I was born: My Love, Petula Clark. First time I'd heard it.....
I am in the same boat. Spectrum. I am going to try to find it streaming over the internet but I doubt I will have any luck.I am pissed. The SEC Network is carrying the UK game as the alternate. Spectrum in my area does not cover the alternate.

Gosh, you are just a pup.
I have watched a lot of games basketball and football, someone live streams on the football forum.I am in the same boat. Spectrum. I am going to try to find it streaming over the internet but I doubt I will have any luck.
Yes. But I am an asshole.Bert, do you have a Roku or another way of getting the ESPN app on your t.v.? If so, you should be able to watch the SEC Alternate Channel through the ESPN app. It'll just ask for your t.v. provider and have you log in to your Spectrum account to verify that you're a paid subscriber.
DirecTV and Dish offer the SEC Network and the Alternate. On my Spectrum they show SEC Network as 516 and the Alternate as 517, yet the bastards will not give up the band width for the second game.I am in the same boat. Spectrum. I am going to try to find it streaming over the internet but I doubt I will have any luck.
Why do we have to live stream when we pay for every thing?I have watched a lot of games basketball and football, someone live streams on the football forum.
I don't know Mr. Bert, I was just saying what I do when UK is not on tv anywhere. I guess I am lucky because I get the alternate channel here in the Berg sometimes. If I don't get to see it I just wait for the replayWhy do we have to live stream when we pay for every thing?
Plus I record the games and save them. They will show it again next week but they will cut it down and I will miss plays. Why do I have to do that when I give them over $250 a month?
Sorry if I was nasty, but crap when you pay that much you should get something in return.I don't know Mr. Bert, I was just saying what I do when UK is not on tv anywhere. Totally understand Bert. I'll be honest, if it wasn't for sports, I'd do away with my satellite tomorrow.Yes. But I am an asshole.
I give Spectrum nearly $260 a month. I live in Kentucky. I should be furnished the game on a normal basis and not have to jump through hoops to see my Cats.
That is what pisses me off.
Why do they feed me Arkansas and the Bowling Green Spectrum not offer the alternate like Dish and DirecTV does?
Morning all, Leaving Friday for Kentucky, may go to the game Saturday, Started a diet on May 1st. Went to the doctor and weighed in at 259, as of this morning, weigh 207. Walk 5 miles a day now and eat healthier. I live in a place where if you don't walk, and you're physically able to, that's on you.
When I took my physical for the RR I was 18 years old, was 6'1 and weighed 171....LOL. Glad that hurricane missed us, a lot of property is just getting fixed from Hurricane Irma, two years ago. Have a good day, talk at you later
Morning fellers & pretty lady.
Today is my Friday!!![]()
Congrats on all the grandkids Bko. I got 1...would like to keep it that for a couple more years.
Earlier you guys were talking about playing golf...my plan is to play 18 on Thursday & 36 on Friday and 36 on Saturday. Barkley Lake...Boots Randolph course.
Good thing is most of it will be Scramble golf....which is also a bad thing
I used to get frustrated...until I came to terms with my suckage. Now I just try to enjoy it regardless. I've tried playing focused & sober = not good, I've tried playing increasingly inebriated = still not good.
Just my 2 cents. Global warming is bs. Climate change....maybe, but it's not because of man. And man can't control weather. Earth is always changing, I've also been told it is always spinning...![]()

Hello and good morning to all in the D-League,
It's a sunny, crystal clear 72 degrees here in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area, headed for another scorcher of 97 later on. It got up to 97 yesterday also with a humid heat index of over 100. My son and his cross country team have had to re-structure their practices to avoid the hottest parts of the day. Same with our high school football and band.
Meanwhile, I'm sitting here at work with a cup of smooth black coffee. Our office here at school this morning is sitting at a frosty 66 degrees. So, yeah, they did fix our AC pretty well, didn't they?
Like a few others, I'm also going to hit a strict diet here for the next six weeks or so. My doctor tells me that my "ideal" weight for my height and bone density is 172-178 range. I'm around 188 as I sit here today.
You all take care, enjoy this day, and be kind/respectful to each other.
Bert doing his happy dance when ymmot comes to visit with a new bourbon.

They are now starting to show it. Pretty bad in the parts of Bahama they are showing.
You receive VA disability for hearing? I have not, but a friend of mine has.
Been to store last 3 days and keep forgetting to buy coffee.Missed double eagle by 2 inches in scramble today.
That’s why it didn’t go in.Bah! Who ever heard of anyone getting a double eagle with no coffee involved?
Preach it brother. Watching the news a moment ago 17,000 utility workers and tree removal / clean up personnel have come to the State of Florida. From 34 states. Kentucky sent a bunch of them because I passed them on I 75 from Berea to to my house Friday night. As far as I know no one in Florida has lost power. No telephone poles or trees have been blown down. If they have been it is isolated and could have been handled by a few trucks locally.A lot of that they have been showing was basically a shantytown. My point wasn't that there was no real damage or that it wasn't a terrible storm. My point was that no wooden shed, no telephone pole, no tree would be left standing if hit with 185 mph wind. Especially with it moving as slow as it was going.
Weather doesn't equal climate until it serves their purpose.
Ha, I went OFF my diet on May 1st and just started back yesterday. I'm at 195 today and I was down to 180 when I went off of it. Should be able to get back to 180 for Thanksgiving.
I laugh off the bad shots and just move on. Shot an 81 this morning. 3 double bogies. 3 birdies.
Good luck with your diet. I'm doing shiite keto. It's serious.
It's not just bourbon that I bring. I also hand him a napkin to wipe off the drool.
Have you thought about boycotting the football game? Seems to be the "IN" thing these days.
I like the way you think!

Bert, we're in the same boat. We also have Spectrum. SEC Network is channel 384 and 385 here. Same thing for us. We may end up streaming it.DirecTV and Dish offer the SEC Network and the Alternate. Screw them. I could switch to DirecTV tomorrow. I told them that today.
Yes, thanks, I'll probably end up going through VA as well.Austin I have a friend a, vetran and they supplied his aids for him.
That is probably my next step as well. Having to go to Reynolds Medical Clinic at Ft. Sill has only gotten me the same response the few times i have gone.Yes, thanks, I'll probably end up going through VA as well.

"Not sure what to tell you" and " Come back if it gets worse." I only have PA's. Have to use this clinic because I got a letter from the government informing me that if I did not use them, my insurance (Tri Care) would not pay my bills unless it was a referral to go downtown from the PA's. Been to the doctors only 3 times in the last 10 years or so.
Luckily, we live between Fort Hood (Darnell AH) and Brook Army Medical Center, San Antonio. For most procedures, I can go to Seton Healthcare and Tricare covers. However, a new VA clinic was built here in ATX, so I'll probably go there. And it's a pain in the ass to get there because it's across town from my job. That is probably my next step as well. Having to go to Reynolds Medical Clinic at Ft. Sill has only gotten me the same response the few times i have gone.
