Good morning from ATX. Currently we've got 80°F. 20% rain chance late in the day. Should hit 98°F or so again today.

Good morning D, first thing is I want to thank all of you for the prayers, she just landed in the Philippines. RR hope you get to feeling better!
Question, what is your go to homemade sammmmach? Mine is a grilled pimento cheese sammmmach, don't know what it is but it's delicious! Made a big bowl of it this morning!
Almost got the floor of the deck done yesterday, stained it with a brush. Ideal situation would have been to take up a section of boards, stain both sides and put it back down, but that is to much work, I'll be long gone before it ever needs done again! I would finish it today but I am headed to church with few more to stain the playground equipment this morning.
Counting down the days until my trout fishing trip to Arkansas. Fishing at the Norfork and White Rivers. I caught a 20" Brown Trout last year hope for bigger this year!!! Later D! Prayers to all that need it (which is all of us)!!

Got back from Philadelphia and got great news about wifeypoo. Guess she will have to put up with me a while longer. Homeless people were a bad problem in Philly, too. Walked over to hear the Wannamaker Organ and they were everywhere. I couldn't help myself but to give some of them money. My wife asked me why I did it, when they probably just buy booze. I told her that I realized that, but my stomach was full from a big dinner at Chili's, and I had a nice warm place to sleep. Guess I'm just a sucker.

I need to do something today, don't know what it is. I'm really interested in finding out what I'm going to do so I think I'll go to the golf course and have some coffee and engage in petty conversation until a light goes off. Or comes on.

Morning all. Dang, it feels great outside...would like to be almost anywhere but in here today.
Hot tub felt good last night but I get bored after about 5 minutes. For me it's not really that enjoyable, but the redhead loves it....so there's your answer.

Dorian, Dorian, Dorian. Now they are saying 130 mph which is a strong Cat 4. My daughter lives in Ocala and says grocery shelves are empty and gas lines are very long.
So I guess I will change my plans. I drove up for the football game but with a Cat 4 headed our way I want to be in my home. No way I will ever evacuate even though I live in a mandatory evacuation zone.

Guy from Calif says won't happen, so they stop and they go into the store Ky guy says I want some maters, taters and ungons. The clerk says you must be from Ky, that's right, how did you know? I could tell by the way you talk.
So they are driving on and the guy from Calif says I am going to try and see if they can tell where I an from. They stop, go into the store, guy from Calif says I want some tomatoes, potatoes and some onions. The clerk looks at and says you must be from Calif! The guy looks at the guy from Ky and says that's amazing and ask the clerk, how did you know, is it the way I talk? Clerk says no it's because you're in a furniture store! Dang that's awful ain't it!

Watching our governor on TV. There are over 100,000 new residents since our last hurricane that have not experienced one. A big concern is they do not know how to use a generator. DO NOR USE IT INSIDE YOUR HOUSE.

Don I have metal hurricane shutters I bolt over all windows and openings. Fortunately I am on the West coast so I will be tracking the path closely as it comes across the state. My house is built to handle a Cat 5 but I still want to be there when it hits.

Good luck, Sawnee. I was in Miami visiting a then-girl friend when Andrew hit -- actually missed Miami but hit Homestead. She had friends in Homestead who really got clobbered. I hope nothing close to that happens to Florida this year.
I worked insurance claims during Andrew. That was a bad one. The only good thing to come out of that was better building codes. Especially roofs.
When we went into Homestead everyone had rifles with signs that said "you loot and we shoot" or " nothing here worth dying for so just move along" we be ready.

Doing the 4 day myself. Need it, much turmoil in office lately. Fishing the morning of three of them. Preparing for a football weekend too.
