Good morning from ATX. Currently 78°F. We might stay out of the hundreds. Yesterday was overcast. Our high hit 94°F and coolest day since late July. I hate our summers.

Good morning! Up early today for an 0800 tee time. Supposed to be a nice day with temps in the low 80's and sunshine. We've had some nice rain for the last two days, course should be looking good and playing easy today. Well, easier than it was when it was dry as a bone and hard as a brick. No telling where the ball was going to bounce.

I didn't cut any wood yesterday but I did decide on the dimensions that I'll cut the wood when I'm out there NOT drinking beer. Might be today because I emptied my refrigerator yesterday.

It is 66.7°F and sunny. It started out real foggy and now the fog is a heavy dew. Supposed to be nice the next few days.

National Bow Tie day. I never got good at at a bow tie. One of the Harvard guys at work wore one every day, Noel Perry. I still keep in contact with him. He retired to central Pennsylvania.

Good afternoon! Beautiful out on the course this morning. Shot an 83 with 4 double bogies. Ouch! Putter let me down like a John McCain in a senate vote.

My helper/friend isn't going to make it today so I don't know if I'll get any wood cut or not. Right now a nap seems to be the proper play.

Time was, football in the Bluegrass meant that basketball was just around the corner. Now it means football is just around corner. I like it like that.

She's cute Evillecat. Time seems to fly by when they're little. My youngest just started Kindergarten, and I feel like I missed a couple of years somewhere.

I left that bunch 4+ years ago. And my years in DC are nothing more than light weight nightmares now. Got to love retirement...take it as soon as you can!
