He is really ready.

Good afternoon! Hasn't been much of a day here. I've slept on the couch all day. Caught a head cold yesterday and I'm at the wrong end of it right now.

Going to sleep some more and I should be good to go for tomorrow.

Ymmot I suggest that your problem is ragweed. It is that time of year.

Go get a good antihistamine and mucinex.

Take 1200 mg of the mucinex every 12 hours and only one antihistamine (loratadine, is the one I suggest).

As a matter of fact, I am not a doctor, nor anything else. I am just a guy who has combated allergies for 60 years. Ragweed is a horror and few people know it.

Google that evil weed.

You're exactly righ about it being ragweed Bert, as I've been dealing with it all week myself. Mine started off with a headache, stuffy nose and my ears hurting. The local news said that this weekend is really going to be bad for it.

No Bert. I'm going to ride this out. I already feel like my head is clearing up. Bummer is, I think I'll be having chest congestion next. Typical cold. I'm also knee deep in an RA flareup. Knees all swoled up like grapefruits, hands are aching, feel like I've been awake for 48 hours straight. This too will pass.

A nice game day bottle of bourbon should be good for what ails me.

Well, maybe she can get me some charity work on my aging teeth? I'm scheduled for a 300 dollar extraction on Sept 9.

Anyone have dentures? They are probably cheaper than an implant. Growing up there was a grocery store and gas station across the road from my house. Don, it was Kellys grocery. They gave me the run of the place. Candy all day. Cokes too. A new thing also called Dr Pepper. It's all catching up with my 30 to 50 year old crowns. FCC.
Dentures are definitely cheaper than implants.

Not sure why an extraction would be 300. With no insurance at our office it’s about half that, even if it’s surgical. Unless you have to be knocked out?

Hey BKO. Good to see you posting girl. I called about a half dozen Dentist in Paducah and only one was around 200. One was 600. I have been to the one I'm going to before. It will be between 220 and 290. 10% discount with cash. FCC.

Good to see you too, G
Heck we’d at least do 25%
I’d have to double check but I’m pretty sure it’s well under 200. That includes all the numbing stuff
The nitrous is extra however

Good football game day Saturday

Well I am back in my Hurricane Watch Sunny Florida home. I was in Kentucky and planned on going to the football game but decided to head home because of Dorian. You never know where this thing will head but you can't take a chance when your home may be in it's path. I had planned on putting up steel hurricane shutters and hurricane proofing the place but I may hold off as this one may head a little North and East of us. Yesterday there were convoys of utilities and tree removal equipment headed down I-75 South Many of these were from Kentucky so thank you Bluegrass State for being here. I saw companies from Texas, Kentucky, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, New York,Alabama, Ohio, Louisiana just to name a few. Traffic was horrendous coming down. The storm's path has changed and as of right now it looks like the Gulf Coast will be spared. But this is based on weather models and could change over the next day or so. It is a Cat 4 and we are in the cone so you need to Be Prepared. Currently it is 78° and may reach 90° this afternoon.

Now for the important thing. FOOTBALL :football::football::football: In the Bluegrass. I am ready and will be watching on the Big Screen I have set up pool side. I would rather be at Commonwealth but this is the next best thing. Go Cats. .

Good morning from ATX. Currently 78°F. High today should be close to 100°F.

Prayers for our D-Leaguers and Paddock posters in the hurricane path. I believe my brothers and cousins will be okay.

Thanks Austin, we should be OK over on the Gulf
I had my bacon for breakfast with grits, fried eggs and biscuits. A great game day breakfast. I also brought some Old Folks sausage back from Kentucky. We can't get it down here

Morning Delighters
I just perused the football roster and noticed not 1 kid from Indiana on the team. Not that I care. I realize Indiana isn't a hotbed for football, but just thought there'd be at least 1 due to proximity. I guess most kids are Big10 brainwashed? I would think somebody in the state would want to play SEC football...
In to work this morning...off at noon.
May help my brother do some staining when I get home. He's building a house next to us...
A bunch of us are heading to downtown Eville this evening. PorchFest. People playing music on front porches in about an 6-7 block area. I read where they're allowing you to pack a cooler and carry alcohol around from street to street. Allowing? ... I thought it was mandatory.

And now introducing your Kentucky Wildcats...
