I'm scheduled for a 300 dollar extraction
You don't live that far...I'll do it for gas money & a case of beer...cold, not warm. I'm not letting you off the hook that easy.

That is how you "launch" a boat.Tie-down straps exist for good reasons.
It is sure good to have you back RRKat.Early appointment with DR's PA. Went well, everything ahead of schedule. Boy a 7:30 am appointment with one day out of Hospital is tuff. Going to rest a little today and get fired up for tomorrow.
Peace to all, have a great Holiday weekend and be safe out there!
My wife's uncle was a dentist in Tazewell, VA (it is up in the mountains of western Virginia, near the North Carolina border.). Tazewell, TN sounds better! The dentist that pulled teeth for 50 cents was in Tazewell, TN. Cheap, but not painless.
I still have all but 5 of my teeth. The wisdoms are gone and one 12 year molar. My parents were poor and uneducated (neither went past the sixth grade - my mother was married at 14). They never made or encouraged us to brush our teeth. I don't even remember owning a toothbrush as a kid. Hence, I had a partial plate at 17 and all my teeth were gone by my mid-20s. I bought that $50 set of dentures that came in the mail and I have been wearing them for nearly 45 years.
This was sad situation but they didn't know any better. It was just a fact of life that your adult teeth came in, rotted out in a few years and you got dentures.
My generation was the first to have the opportunity to escape that cycle of poverty and ignorance by moving "up north" (I hitchhiked 400 miles) where there were jobs.
The only good part is that I haven't been to a dentist for 45 years and have saved a fortune.
I will rent you a set of good pliers for $0.25.You don't live that far...I'll do it for gas money & a case of beer...cold, not warm. I'm not letting you off the hook that easy.

I was forced to brush my teeth. My mom was a bad woman!
But she is only 29 years old.My wife goes to the dentist twice a year. She still has all her teeth.
He is really ready.
But she is only 29 years old.
Good afternoon! Hasn't been much of a day here. I've slept on the couch all day. Caught a head cold yesterday and I'm at the wrong end of it right now.
Going to sleep some more and I should be good to go for tomorrow.
Ymmot I suggest that your problem is ragweed. It is that time of year.
Go get a good antihistamine and mucinex.
Take 1200 mg of the mucinex every 12 hours and only one antihistamine (loratadine, is the one I suggest).
As a matter of fact, I am not a doctor, nor anything else. I am just a guy who has combated allergies for 60 years. Ragweed is a horror and few people know it.
Google that evil weed.
I have already maxed out on my meds. It happens every fall. You're exactly righ about it being ragweed Bert, as I've been dealing with it all week myself. Mine started off with a headache, stuffy nose and my ears hurting. The local news said that this weekend is really going to be bad for it.
It is sure good to have you back RRKat.
Just take it easy on screaming at the TV tomorrow!
Whoo! Whoo! Just a little whistle blow shout out showing you we're glad your back..............................is better hopefully.Thank you Bert. I thought about you and all the men here and our Lady BKO.
Basketball and football recruiting are both doing well. I'm so glad to be back!

I am PUMPED UP!
That they doPrices are high, but on the bright side, they pay Bev's salary.
Dentures are definitely cheaper than implants.Well, maybe she can get me some charity work on my aging teeth? I'm scheduled for a 300 dollar extraction on Sept 9.
Anyone have dentures? They are probably cheaper than an implant. Growing up there was a grocery store and gas station across the road from my house. Don, it was Kellys grocery. They gave me the run of the place. Candy all day. Cokes too. A new thing also called Dr Pepper. It's all catching up with my 30 to 50 year old crowns. FCC.
Yard mowed
Its a 3 day weekend!
Liver stretches have begun...
Word on the street is you can go to ul dental school and have things like extractions done dirt cheap. They have to learn somewhere.
My wife had to visit our dentist today for an emergency service due to inflamed gums and serious jaw pain. Evidently the implant was the problem. Antibiotics and a visit to a specialist in the future. So long implant.Dentures are definitely cheaper than implants.
Sorry to hear. Get well soon.My wife had to visit our dentist today for an emergency service due to inflamed gums and serious jaw pain. Evidently the implant was the problem. Antibiotics and a visit to a specialist in the future. So long implant.
At least you don’t have that other Chinese disease - Egg Zachary disease. You know, the one where your face looks Egg Zachary like...well, Google it if you need to.
Not sure why an extraction would be 300. With no insurance at our office it’s about half that, even if it’s surgical. Unless you have to be knocked out?
