We've moved some of our seniors up to the red tees, or ladies tees if you will, and of course the same people who have a problem with EVERYTHING also have a problem with that.
Golf would be better for everyone if we would just get the idea out of our heads that tee locations are based on age and gender. The tees we play should be based upon our abilities.
A couple of the guys we moved up to the reds have gone from 15-20 hdcps down to 5-10. I've tried to explain to the naysayers that these guys can still play competitive golf if they're able to reach a green in regulation. Some can drive a max of 150yds and that just won't get you to a 400yd par 4 with a reasonable chance of making par.
Also Ben, I've got a guy who might be coming with us. He has to check his calendar but as of last night he thinks he can make it. He's about a 15 hdcp but hits the ball solid and straight. He's 1 week younger than me but just doesn't have the length I do. He should be playing from the senior tees.
Well, here it is: Warrior-cat: 5 1/2----LMB 1/2. I actually landed number four and was trying to get the hook out and as I did it flopped out of my hand and onto the bank and then into the water.

It could be worse - at least you got Clint, Ymmot. My wife and I are in a hotel celebrating our anniversary and she stumbled across a channel showing —wait for it — Les Miserables. Yes, I’m watching a Frog musical on football opening night. The things I do to make an anniversary special.

I know it's early in the season but Florida does not look like a top 10 team. Still, it's damn fine to be watching football.
Miami missing tackles and Franks is not a very good quarterback. Florida got Lucky on the kick off fumble.
Damn how many tackles did Florida miss on that TD run? At least 4.
Both teams are missing tackles.
Wild finish. Florida did their best to lose the game but still pulled it out.
Bodes well for us to win 2 in a row for us if we just play straight up without many errors.

The sun is coming up and coffee is good. Real good. It was fun seeing football on the big screen. Watching the Gators and Miami play in Orlando brought back sweet memories of last New Years Day . I think we are better than Miami and UF and feel good about taking the Gators in Lexington. Next Saturday is the start of another great year.

i watched quite a bit of both games yesterday. Curacao almost gave it away to Japan, and Louisiana had a kid set the record for most hits in LLWS. Today's finale should be a good one.
I missed the game. Fell asleep after returning from the Kickoff picnic. Highlights look crazy.
This game was played on a neutral field in Orlando, right? We certainly have a shot against the Gators.
