Good you see you back home safely Austin. That was a quick turn around between posts: 11:00pm 4:53am.
I see the doctor this morning about getting a referral to an orthopedic specialist. My back is a pain.

Ugh! Just got the quote. I should have added an extra one or two dollar signs.
Sherry and I had our 53rd Sunday.Mornin' D-League. Getting ready to send our son back to Lexington for his sophomore year. We helped him get a car over the summer, and he had a good few months, banking nearly $8,000 from his job with "College Hunks Hauling Junk." They really liked him and he's already been hired for weekends with the Lexington franchise.
Grinding out a tough work week, then will celebrate our 23rd anniversary on the weekend. Hope all is well with everyone.

Great to hear your son is doing the same thing I did in summers. I worked for North American Van Lines in Lexington and started as a helper on a long distance 18 wheeler. I would report the week after finals and return to Lexington about a week before classes started in the fall. Did that four years and to be honest received more of an education on the road than in school. Saw a man get shot to death in Nashville by the Cumberland River bridge and had to chase away a young girl in St Louis who offered us anything we wanted if we would take her to Los Angeles. A BIG NO little girl. She may have been 16 at the most. Going through the Western states I saw my first hippies Guess they were headed to San FranciscoMornin' D-League. Great stories Sawnee. My son was more regional than national - down into Virginia, and as far as Baltimore in Maryland, along with some DC moves in the elegant parts of town. He loved it, and saw his share of stuff, though nobody killed. As for the teeny-bopper, I trust he'd do the same.Great to hear your son is doing the same thing I did in summers. Congrats on 23. I love to see couples who have over 20 years. Today that is a commitment and a good thing. .

All of the hot weather being reported reminds me of my wife. She hates hot weather and prefers cold and snow. This picture was taken at her brothers house in Kentucky and she was so excited with 10 inches of snow. I was not with her and she left for home a few minutes after the picture. She ran into a Georgia ice storm and ran her car over the side of a mountain, landing in a snow bank. There was no real damage to the car and she had a good ride down the hill. She thought it was fun. Not meWow. My weather station says it is 95 degrees and a little over 60% humidity. And I still have to cut grass. Yuck.
Sadly that's pretty much how it is these days.this makes one want to collect the phones before they come into the house.
